Those flowers you have there - I think they are geraniums (the real ones, not the house plants we just call geraniums - they are pelargoniums). http://www.wildnatureimages.com/wild_geranium.htm
It's a bit hard to tell without seeing the foliage better though.
I loved the windmill too.

If it's sunnny tomorrow I may go back and try to get a better picture. They were absolutely gorgeous. We have wild orchids here, too. A very rare species, can't recall its name, though.

Your Autumn seems more advanced than ours, but perhaps I need to get out and about while the sun is still shining. The sun can play havoc with a good picture though. Hs your camera got Anti-Shake on it. I don't know what mine would be like without it. i dread to think
I mistook your other photos for the new ones. I thought they were brilliant! Just found my photo of our windmill, but it has deteriorated beyond repair which is a pity as it has an interesting history.
Good luck with the weather and photos tomorrow.

Unfortunately, there's no 'anti shake' in this camera - just an icon pops up, warning you that your hands are trembling.

"an icon pops up, warning you that your hands are trembling."
I don't like your camera's attitude, Bel. "Your hands are shaking. Please stop it."

Yes, something like that. It did dshow when I took a photo of my son without having the flash enabled. Once I had set the flasf, the icon was gone.

I love those photos too. Especially the fig tree (a fig tree, in their yard? ) and the clock collection. You took really nice ones, Bel!

I was so baffled about the fig tree. I mean, they're up in the icy north, I'd never have expected a fig tree to grow there and even bear fruit.
I took a few from furniture I grew up with, too, but didn't upload them.
