I just sneaked a look at the Modell Mühlen 07. photos. Fascinating. Would I find anything about it on the Net, or was it a local thing. My other half would be interested in the water wheels and windmills etc.

Yes, it's lovely here where I live.
Webbie I'll look whether there is something on the web about the model mills. If there is, it'll probably be in German, though.

Gosh, those are beautiful, Bel!
I'd love to get out and get some pretty autumn-y shots, but it's been much too warm the last few days to walk around outdoors much. Maybe this weekend! The trees are turning colors and the parks are all so pretty.

Autumn is lovely when the sun is shining. Today is another foggy day, though.

I really love the autumn colours. The sun's just come out, but it's too late to go for a walk now as it will soon be down again.

My windows all open the wrong way for photos. Done for security reasons and now I regret it i do manage to get some passable pix through them though.

Does it make a difference whether a window opens to the outside or the inside?

I could get photos out my windows, if I wanted to, since the panes slide up and down. But I'm up so high that even zooming in, it's hard to get anything much besides the tops of trees.

Pc, I'm on the second floor, so although thbe trees aren't yet big enough to be on the same level, I can still get some nice shots.
Look forward to your photo,

Bel, our windows downstairs open outwards, bieng hinged from the top, so I can't get a photo without glass in the way, and upstairs we only have small top windows, again hinged at the top. I want to change our windows soon (we need them), so we can change the style and have windows that have side hinges and open out. That way I should have a clear view, and hearing.
That's if the banks leave me with any money to do anything

We're finaly getting some color here, too. I was afraid the drought would take all the leaves, but it rained just in time.
(Speaking of plants; where was I when you all went into botanical screen names?)
