Beowulf, the deadline was last night. When can you have ot finished?
If it could be with us by tomorrow morning/late morning I could still do the editing. Sorry I can't give you more time than that, but I'm all alone this week cause lil is in hospital.
Don't know about the 'yah', but you don't worry, I will find out (and anyway, if Americans use it, it should be fine). Don't forget, I will edit the story anyway and look for typos etc, so don't worry about single words.

how exactly do I submit the final draft
Whatever - or better - Whoever Next?
van-smeiter Posted Jun 29, 2008
We do but it depends on the context.
A stereotypical upper class Brit says 'yah' rather than 'yes'. Someone satirising an upper class person will use it for that reason. A British person doing an impression of a German/Austrian/Swiss will say 'yah' (for 'jah'). We'd say it in the sense of 'yah boo sucks' and in a the karate sense of 'hi-yah' (though I think the last two would be 'ya').
Don't think I'm helping here and there are probably other ways Brits use it. Sorry.
Van

The only thing that matters is that people understand what you mean and bel will edit so it sounds like it'll be fine.

Well I wrote something but I am worried about the qualityt. I used to write allot but am very much out of prattice with fiction stories, haven't written in this sort of chain story at all and do to unexepected fammily stuff spent a lot less time on it than I would have liked.

beawulf, I got your story and edited it. I think I know what you meant with 'major flaw', so I altered that bit.

That's OK, I'm just glad you did write it, I was afraid I'd have to do some last-minute writing myself.

I was afriad you would to. If I had know that the fammily reunion was this week and that I would have so little computer access this week I would have asked for a differnt segment

Hey guys, sorry I have been around throughout all of this week, otherwise I could have picked the ball up myself in case of an emergency. Have we got an author for the next episode?
Doin't worry Beo, I'm sure your contribution will be just as good as all the others so far, I'm looking forward to it.
