Whatever - or better - Whoever Next?

Well, like I said, I'll step in myself if I can when I'm around, but you shouldn't use up all your creative juices to soon, I'm mulling the prospect of a second run if the first one is well recieved. Begging your permission, of course.

I can't see anything speaking against a second run - didn't you think about that right from the start anyway? Unfortunately, we can't judge how well received it is, but I'm sure lots of people are reading and enjoying it.

Well it was an idea, but I think, when I say well-recieved, probably the key criteria is how easy it has been to sign up new writers. If we ask around and get a load of volunteers next time, or even people who volunteered for the first run but didn't get a turn, that would be a decent indicator that it was a good idea.

I see. I think that so far, those who have written a part of the story enjoyed it, so I could imagine they'd be up for a second run if nobody else is.

I'd love to see a second run.
My thinking is that you should put the writers in reverse order, so they get experience of writing a different story segment.

Best get in touch with benjamin about the concept, maybe he wants to change a few things - or maybe not, he'll tell you.

Eh? What ? Me? I don't have any ideas. Well alright, I may have one or two, but I shall be moving AGAIN soon and since it generally taskes tiscalli about a year to reconnect my broadband so I may well not be about in six weeks and I'd like to be online for the start of a new run if I can. Since there seems to be some enthusiasm for a second run- do people feel new ideas would be a good idea, or just arse up a working formula?

I think we should try to make it broadly the same, but introduce one significant change.
What that change is, I'm not quite sure, but I think we run the risk of bedding down into predictability and silliness otherwise.

Stick with Dave or start with a brand new story from scratch?

Mu Beta Posted Jul 4, 2008
I don't see any reason to stick with Dave.
He might yet get killed in episode ten of Professor Garbinstein And The Bird On The Toilet.

Good point, I hadn't thought of that. Well if anyone else has any views, do chip in.

Btw, I *have* an idea about what I'd do if I was to start the next one - and Dave wouldn't be in it.
