Sal, it's a huge variety -my son just discovered raspberry-flavoured - I hadn't seen that when I looked earlier today.

Sounds lovely - I seem to collect strange presents from other Researchers, although I have to admit to sending less than I've received.

I did once lending Bridget Jones's Diary all the way to Germany once though, so that the Researcher could read it in English as the translation apparently lost something. It came home again though, with sweeties!

Yes, I know what you mean. And I have to admit, that so far, I've been on the receiving end, noot on the sending one. I do try to take a few things for my friends when i go to the meets, though. But they have to be rather small and light items, because I have to carry them. When i went to my first meet, I took severla glasses of fresh sauerkraut - boy I felt my shoulders the next day, after having them carried all the way from Heathrow to Croydon, and then most of them from croydon to hyde Park the next day.

I've still got the tiny tins I was brought some tea in. I use them in the camper. One was from Shaz, although I think she bought it in London as it's got a London bus on it, and the other Titania brought from Sweden. I think they were both over five years ago.

I've still not sent the CD I promised Terri, ooh, about a year ago.

I really have to sort that out.

Rich sent me a CD for christmas, that was nice. I think he sent one to Terri, too.

i don't know anyone's addresses,so i can't send anything anywhere!!!Well,i do have a couple,but i don't like asking,in case i put anyone in an awkward position!!

Most things have come via work, a boyfriend's work, my mum, or another Researcher. These days I'm a bit more relaxed about giving out my home address if someone is desperate to send me a !

I have a few hootoo friends personal addresses, some I have met, but now due to wallet having "anorexia nerviosa"(slimming disease)sending things is now very hard to do

There are lots of people i'd like to meet too ,we almost made it to a meet once!

I'm never bothered about the london meetsour day will come though and we might have Northern meets

All you have to do is organising them, Prof, then you can have as many Northern Meets as you can get people to go to.

I'd like to get to a london meet,as as it sounds i don't know so many local hootooers!!!

Never mind, I don't evben have local hootooers here, yet we had a meet last year here in Frankfurt.

What do you class a "Northern", Prof?

I'm stuck at the unfashionable end of the eastern spiral arm of the M62 - Hull.

The Prof is in Yorkshire, as is Sal, as far as I know. Where is Hull?
