Hi B'El!
Hull - or rather Kingston upon Hull to be pedantic, is a port on the Humber estuary on the East coast; from your perspective, around two thirds of the way up the right hand side of the country. It lies below Scarborough and across the river Humber (spanned by what was once the longest single span bridge in the world) from Grimsby or Great Grimsby.
How's that for a bit of useless information?

The Humber Bridge is the scariest I've ever driven over!

There was/is a wooden bridge over the small harbour where I grew up, and I always imagined I'd fall through the spaces between the planks when I was a child.
That has to be the scariest bridge I ever crossed.

Hi B'El, sounds great for you...
and Marshmallows
But not for me. Thanks.
Luckily I am not one of those men with a sweet tooth...
And I can recommend being involved in Meets. It's great fun...
And if you want scary bridges, Hammersmith uring a high spring tide is pretty as well, when walking.

Hull - Birthplace of William Wilberforce, and now home to John Prescott! How standards have fallen! He actually lives about half a mile from my house. When the wind blows in the right directon you can smell the bulls**t from our garden!
So, any other Northerners here?
