Serotonin?
Chocolate doesn't contain serotonin but contains stuff that stimulates the production of serotonin in the brain - which is exactly the same thing that the aforementioned ecstasy and cocaine do. Funny old world.

Well, yes, don't be so pedantic, you knew what I meant
All I remembered was a connection between and serotonin.
I guess I'll stick with if I look at the alternatives.

It'd be more accurate!
Speaking of showing off; at wotk today i wrote a note on a computer system that included the phrase 'this should not be allowed to exacerbate his procrastination'.
Now *that's* showing off!

found it! good old new scientist;
'Illegal drugs such as cocaine or amphetamines can simulate the euphoria of falling in love by raising levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine, but dopamine levels can also be increased legally by exercising. Another neurotransmitter, phenylethylamine (PEA), is tagged the "love molecule" because it induces feelings of excitement and apprehension. PEA is found in chocolate and it, too, is linked to the feel-good effects of exercise.'

The electro-chemical thingies in the brain fascinate me, not that I know much about 'em.
