How are you? Glad you are back. Missed you.
Had a good time in Paris. Although it was meant as a treat for Mum, her passport had expired, so I offered to take my eldest sister who was overjoyed, until two days before the trip when she realised her passport had expired. No-one else wanted to go, so she asked my cousin if she would, and she jumped a the chance, so we went instead. Up at 05:00 and home by 23:45. A long day.
Shall give you all the info later. Must go. Shutting up the shop.

Don't mention passports to me -I nearly didn't make it to the meet last year because mine was expired - had to have a substitute because they take six weeks to make a new one

Hope all is well.
Survived last week. It was long due to now w*rking bank holidays, so had a six day week. Didn't do a great deal yesterday except recharge the batteries. Spot of ironing as per usual.
I should really have been out enjoying the sunshine, but didn't.
Life here is pretty good, although I did sleep funny last night so my back and neck are stiff. Tonight I have a Housing Association meeting, which I could seriously do without, as I am going to a training session near Oxford tomorrow, and need to be up around 05:00. Not a lot of fun... Still, no one else wanted to go so extra Brownie points for me I guess.

Hello Claudia, Well, according to the posting below, the 16th has been decided on, so it is up to you. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F1988438?thread=567256&latest=1 I am hoping it doesn't get changed. As to what the plans are for the daytime, I don't know. Luckily last week went fairly well, although tiring, and yesterday was fairly intense and, as per normal with training sessions, I didn't sleep well, so overslept. I had 15 minutes to get ready and just made the train. It was a very good day. The food was great. One advantage about selling electrical goods is the training tends to result in something edible... Must go... really stuck on the Telegram this week so putting on my thinking cap... Need an moment! Take care & Neal x x

It was more or less me who decided that the date was definate : I found a thread where coelacanth mentioned the 16th to be the definate date, so last night I booked the flights and said that I did and that it now had to be the 16th
Hubby decided to stay at home after all - because of the costs. So now I'll just have to find a cheap hotel, or maybe I'll try to get a guestroom at London university - Z posted a link and I had a look at this today.

Will you be the whole Saturday off ? Maybe we could meet earlier then and have a breakfast together, or atleast a / ?

Breakfast or something similar sounds good to me.

If you get stuck for accomadation, you could stay at my flat. I can kip in the lounge on an air-bed. Not unusual. Do it for relatives. It is just that I am about an hour away from Holborn, and up to 2 hours from Stanstead. Up to you. Push came to shove I could kip at Mum's.

If you have any plans for the day, or want ideas, then only too happy to help. I know London reasonably well, and it isn't that difficult to get around, if someone knows the routes.

Anyway it is 13 weeks away, so no major panic. Maybe you could check with Lorraine where she stayed, which is right by King's Cross Station.

I have had to turn down a gig for that day, that I was offered last Saturday, which was a bit . I will definitely be somewhere far better though.
Must remember to get the thick waterproof blanket for you . Sad to hear Jen has left HooToo for a period. Hope she is ok. Must drop her a mail, if only to give gher an update on my plant, now she has identified it.
Also hopefully send her some piccies of the meet. Need to arrange the badge/shirt for it too. I've got a hand-designed t-shirt and sweatshirt with a fidle design that may work, but I need something slightly better...

I'm glad you'll not be away at a gig or at work - I'm really looking forward to seeing you again
Btw, hubby wasn't very enthusiastic , so now I've booked a place in a hostel, it's directly near Hyde Park, so ideal before and probably after the meet, if farther away from Heathrow then you live, but this was the best solution, obviously.
I'm sure your t-shirt and sweatshirt are fine, I'll take my shirt from last year.

Not really surprised your Husband wasn't happy. Anyway, Hyde Park is on my route home as it is on the Piccadilly line, so that's not a problem anyway. Only 13 weeks to go... or 94 days to be exact. I will have to get my best party-frock out. I am definitely keeping that day clear. I missed my first opportunity to go to a Meet due to w*rking and then having to stay until 20:00 . That was why last year was so special. I am very pleased that you are going as, with Jen and Lorraine not being there, or Reb, I would feel very uncomfortable.

I have almost completed the Telegram Game Roll of Honour. I hadn't realised how long I'd let it slip. You will be pleased to know that you are in 6th place.
I shall get it finished tomorrow, all being well.

How are you today? Well, I hope.

I have the good fortune to be at w*rk today, as you may have gathered. Luckily I finish at 16:40, as I have a gig tonight. The major problem is that I'll miss the last underground train home, so I'll have to get a late-night bus. Home around 2am or 3am?
It wouldn't be so bad, except I am w*rking tomorrow as well...
Oh! The joys of life. To compound it, I am doing the rest of the week until Friday, with another gig this coming Monday evening. I shall appreciate a lie-in next Saturday .
Pleased you enjoyed the Telegram Roll of Honour. I'm only 29 ahead of you . Very easy for you to catch up. Especially when you consider how long VB was top of the pile for weeks, then I-N took over very rapidly. A few 8 and 9 pointers, and a double telegram score helped.

Anyway, I guess I should get on with what I'm paid for.
