Hi Claudia,
Thought I'd pop by. Shall be updating the Telegram Weekly Results and Roll of Honour this evening. There are an average of four people voting per game..... and we are two of them.
Had a good weekend. Met my cousin from Euston Station on Friday lunchtime, and then waited for my other cousin to turn up. Invited for tea at my sister's which was good. Up until 03:00ish. Saturday we went around Kew Gardens, and then home to get ready for Mum's 70th Birthday Bash. The Band I play with were on first, which went well. My Brother-in-Law was on next, which wasn't so popular, followed by my friend which went very well (although he was the only one to charge, at a discounted rate...... £1,000) Home about 00:30, and then sat drinking until 03:30ish (again)
Sunday was spent in R & R. (rest and recuperation). Luckily Deborah, my cousin from Manchester, was offered a lift home, which was good, and Anne only had an hour's journey, so I had my flat back by 17:00. It was bliss to sleep in a bed again. An airbed and my back is not a good combination....
How was your weekend? I hope it was good. I must admit having had guests, I do find my flat very empty now. . Maybe single life is getting to me . I hope not!!!!!

I'm glad you had such a ice weekend, even if it meant late nights and not sleeping too well
I imagine being alone like being in paradise, but then I've never really had the luxury of living alone, so can't really judge.
I haven't played nor voted on the telegram game yet, will vote tomorrow, and maybe even will be able to think of a telegram - perhaps a will come and whisper some nice sentence into my ear
have you seen the third challenge on the Eagle Eye ? Jen left a few for the rest of us, but all the well-known names are gone, so I can't find any further herbs or spices - but I'm sure you can

Yep, the single life has a lot going for it, but there are exceptions . Usually not a problem.
Looks like another day's delay on the update... customers!!!!! I'll see if I can send you a little inspiration. Something needs to happen to wake it up. There are 28 gamers on the roll of Honour, but only 4 voters... Verfy frustrating!
Anyway, I shall have a crack at the Herbs and Spices (my fav!) and let you know how I get on.

Re: the Roll Of Honour... because I've said I will... It is ownership and is good for me to have a bit of responsibility. Plus it is good to see that you are nipping my tail, and so I need to improve my Telegrams, which I make a harder task as I attempt to make them topical according to that day's news, knowing it is not your natural language, It makes it more difficult and fun, although sometimes not PC, for which I apologise
I shall try Eagle Eye tomorrow.

When I get around to the New Roll of Honour this evening, you'll find that I am in fifth, with 85 points, and you have stormed into sixth on 74. Still a long way from Vestboy on 146, but I am trying hard, and I did start later. I reckon that to be that high is very good, so please keep it going... Just one good word could do it!
It is good for me to have a bit of pressure....

Anyway, I shall start the update in 30 minutes, just want to see how red is behaving today .

Hello Claudia,
How are things? It was a quiet weekend for me, as I had a gig Saturday, and was worn out Sunday! I had a number of plants to re-pot which I did yesterday, along with a spot of work for the Housing Association where I live. As far as being online is concerned, my computer is on 24/7, and so I may be online or not Like to keep people guessing.
I didn't have any washing/ ironing for a change, as there wasn't enough to worry about. Still, there'll be plenty next weekend .
Struggling with this week's word, as I still want to stay topical... there is still time though. Must get done by thursday.
Didn't have much chance to do last week's quiz, as work is getting bigger, and as from tomorrow I'll be dealing with all calls so may be offline a bit more.

Anyway, must go...

Hello Neal,
I haven't done any planting yet, it's a bit too early in the year to do much planting, although on a sunny day like today, there's certainly an hour when it's warm enough - I do the planting on the balcony I've nearly finished cooking tea, apart from that I've spent a lazy Monday, cause It was my day off. I'll miss my Thursday off this week, we'll go to Mainz for some schooling - we're going to have a new EDP system at work, new system, new computers, new sreens (touchscreens) and nobody knows yet how to work with all this. A whole day of schooling will be very straining - I'm not used to that any more . Then on Saturday after work, the old system will be deleted, and the new system installed, and on Monday, we'll have chaos There'll be help in form of two men who know what to do - but only on Monday and Tuesday, after that, we'll be alone
So next week, I'll probably post some more and smileys than I usually do
I hope not too many people will call when you're alone - all calls, that sounds as if there've been changes at youe work, too ?

Hi, Claudia,
There are always changes here, although not as dramatic as yours. For the last 18 months, I have only been dealing with calls regarding white goods, like ovens, fridges etc, and Audio and TV equipment like computors Videos, DVDS etc. Since January I have asked to be more hands-on with other calls so as from today I am dealing with all calls. Should be fun. I was getting bored.
I certainly hope that it isn't as bad as you make it out to be. We had a windows upgrade this year which went smoothly, and will soon have a new ordering system which, if it works will be good, but it is 3 months late already. That this company for you....
The Plants I was doing where only indoor ones, as I don't have a garden. One I am trying to get to grow, is an Avocado from a seed. It has rooted well, so I am hopeful.... and two others had got so root-bound that I had to cut the pot. Now it is fingers crossed, as plants and I don't mix well.

Rumour has it, that Ellen MacArthur will be Lt Cmdr Dame , sounds a bit eccentric to me - typically Brit
M-i-l just on the phone - she'll have her knee operated, the meniscus is torn or something like that . She's on her way here, so I must leave for now.

I'm to hear this - and I can hardly believe it
I looked for 'muscalids' and it seems to be a word that doesn't exist, so who on earth can feel offended by it ? And I can't see what's wrong with being talleyman for the telegram game It was spooky, this morning it showed the brief version of your name, then the u-no., then the name again, very . I wonder what the moderators think they're doing
I'll be to the schooling the whole day, but hope to catch up this evening.
