The Page of Lady Marian
Hello, if you're here, you are almost certainly one of my friends from the BBC Doctor Who Messageboards, as no one else ever really talks to me. :) Indeed, no one else knows me. :)
But I'll introduce myself anyway, in case you've found your way here by accident, and decide you'd like to talk to me.
My name is Marian, and I'm a Doctor Who fan. I like to write science fiction (though I am very much an ameteur) and have created quite a few spin-off characters associated with Doctor Who. I am currenly building a site for all my writings, which, sadly, isn't up yet. As things currently look, it may not be up any time within the next Century.
I have just discovered Douglas Adams within the last six months, having read 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency' (which I loved :) ) and 'Long, Dark Tea-Time of the Soul' (which I liked less). I haven't yet read the 'Hitchhiker's Guide' books, :( but am looking forward to it when I get the chance.
My other interests include:
Sherlock Holmes,
Classical Opera, particularly Handel and Bellini,
J. R. R. Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings', and
