Your not actually allowed to, but my boss is so laid back, he can never bother to enforce it! The worst thing is when he goes to the cupboard and pulls all the foreign shots out! Then starts to get you all drinking them, if he is here tonight, i can see him getting absinth out, as one of the lads just came back from Prague and brought a bottle with him! So yeah, its always fun Im waffling now!
Should be a good weekend! You of anywhere?

Well, i had yet another run in with my dad today. Looks like communication there is now cut for good. I tried, but there you go. My brother, poor thing, seems very disapointed with us both! Great. Thats life.

Ah, its no probs, think in the past 10 yrs we have fallen out for about 4 and a half yrs, there are so many issues, and my dad does stuff and can never, ever admit anything and apologise. I told him yesterday that unless he can admit a few things and finally apologise for them, we had nothing to talk about. First time that i have ever really stood up to him!

Well..i guess i recognise those kind of words too. The option is there for you if you need....genuine offer.
Well i'm looking to having a good day today...realised these last couple of days that being in the bush on your own is one thing...somehow nature and wildlife fills in all the gaps....but other than that i don't really like being on my own too much.
Off shopping just now for some food, fresh breads and stuff...looks like another blinder.
I really hope you have a great night tonight, have a drink on for me...and then have another one for me if things do start to get a bit edgy at all.....lol...cheers Candice.

The hen-night was an absolute disater. Completely fell apart, and now my best mate has told me she isnt coming to the wedding cos of the other girls. Really pissed off.
How was your weekend? Hope you had a good one!

Nonametraveller Posted Aug 11, 2003
I am sorry about the hen night Candice...what a bummer....what went wrong?...or was it just a case of 'not clicking'...
What can i say....at least you can say that you really tried to get something really nice together for your sis and you were there for her.
Hopefully you're mate will have chilled a bit in the next few days and change her mind.
Mine was ok....nothing to really rave about if i am honest, it was nice to have a bit of company and we all got merrily wasted on saturday night....well through the whole afternoon really and night....lol....lots of catemba's and munchie material. Plenty of 'gypsy kings' type music in the day to get them all in 'i'm on the mediteranean' type mood and then some cool club sounds from about 10 years ago....dunno what category the music would fall under...
Sunday was pretty much the same although i stuck to the munchie material only.....felt a bit 'cloudy' all day today...lol... One of the girls got a call on sunday morning telling her about some dude she had grown up with who had been found dead in his sleep....so apart from feeling for her hurt a bit i got a tired of the mobile going for the next four hours and hearing the story of this guy in various differant formats.
Unfortunately there were many names that are part of my past ....and a lot of it reminded me of how very little interest i have of going back to the area i grew up in....nightmare stories of the way it is now.

It was just a disaster from the word go, they didnt want to participate in any part of the evening, my friend ended up losing her temper with them, and they had a row in the loos, i went in, and finished the row off, got quite nasty, and i got landed with a bill of £100 from the restaurant, as they didnt pay for the meal, lucky i had my bill money on me!
Sounds like an ok weekend, sorry to hear about your friend xx But i know what you mean when you say you dont want to go back to your past, i dont either, the ppl i want in my life i have, and i have plenty of very good friends, after my sisters hen-night i really appreciate them as well
Its great here at the mo, the kids have worked out how to turn the fire hydrant on outside my house, so they keep turning it on, last night i was about to go to bed 1 in the morning when it went of again, my brother and i where out there having a water-fight until 2 in the morning, a few other ppl joined us as well great laugh!

To be honest Candice it sounds a bit like it was never going to work under any circumstances....how did your sister take it?..i suppose that at the end of the day she is the hardest hit.....well.. apart from you getting nobbled for a long un!!...bummer, especially when it is for folk you would rather not be feeding.
The water fight sounds very cool...lol...brilliant in fact..just what you need on days like these....you should get them to learn how to switch it off as well and use it when the need arises...lol.
Great news about your interview...you must be well chuffed...i am totally pleased for you...maybe i'll have to pull into your pub one day and buy you a beer to celebrate....when do you start?

My sister is very upset. Which is understandable. One of the girls was the other bridesmaid, im not sure if she is going to be bridesmaid now, and the other 3 are uninvited. Ive asked my sis if she blames me, and she doesnt at all, she blames them, her comment was, it was my night, they will all have opportunities in the future to have hen-nights and will do what they want for it, and i will never have another one again! Which is so true. My mum comes over from Italy Weds next week, so we are planning another evening, with the right ppl there!
Might be an idea to get the kids to turn it off as well! They have found the key for it its great!
I start the course on 16th Sept, so really looking forward to it
How are you?

Nonametraveller Posted Aug 13, 2003
You know what...everything for a reason ..i reckon that when your mum comes over your sister and all of you are going to end up having the best hen night ever...that was the thought that instantly flashed through my mind as i read your post.
I reckon if they turn it off when they have finished with it you could end up using it for ages....lets hope the weather keeps up of course....no sign of it stopping though
Thats just around the corner then...brilliant...where do you have to go and how much time a week?
I had another mock exam yesterday ...fairly sure that i breezed it but apparently it is one where you virtually have to have 100% to pass it.
Yeah i'm good ...lots of chillin...spending a fair bit of time thinking about 'where to next' so to speak...you know...do i wanna stay her?...do i wanna go there?....what am i gonna do if i do stay here?

Nonametraveller Posted Aug 13, 2003
End of august would suit me fine....although when it comes round of course i will be asking for it to stay until the end of september...never satisfied.....lol
You are having your hair done has got me thinking something....lol...dangerous as you know...i'll send you a mail
Yeah the answers will come to me...at the end of the day i think it is all going to come down to what i am going to do for a living...and am i going to be happy doing it..as much as i want to please i figure that if i am not happy then noone around me is going to be happy either.
I am not sure when the rsults come back....i have another module to finish now..then an exam on that so maybe they will all come together.
Yeah i'll catch you later...have a good one
