I remember that old donkey, god, that thing was ancient. His dead now, died some yrs back! But he had a long life! Ruislip Lido, well, the jetty's are gone, (cos the water is still below government standards) are gone, the boat-shed is now closed, but still there, again, cos of the water, the cafe gone, with a pub for replacement. Where the pool bit was is now done up like a nature reserve. Round by the beach, exactly the same, the train is there, but no pony rides. Its very nice still but hasnt really changed that much, which is good
I dont even have a shower, only a bath, its one of the next things i have to buy for this house! Amongst other things Takes time.
Sounds like you had a good day. I havent managed to get of the phone tonight. But just chilling with a couple of cold lagers! cant beat a cold beer in this weather!
I take it the salesman wasnt very good at his job then, as it didnt even need a selling point for you as you had decided to buy it all ready lol you do get some idiots out there! lol
Enjoy the rest of your night

I really must pull in there at some stage and check it out...must go fishing too...probably not there, maybe a river or lake somewhere...i used to live for fishing..memories memories...
A nature reserve? ..sounds nice.
Bummer about the shower...not being funny, but in this weather even a hose fixed up outside would be cool.
Yeah i had a nice day...they all seem to be blending into each other at the moment....i am looking at this time as my holiday too....apart doing a bit of work i am doing a lot of chilling and contemplating "where to next" so to speak.
dead right about a cold lager on a day like this..I have not been drinking at all though...detoxing after a few months with sis...lmao
can you believe it...i stood there and looked at this guy at one stage and nearly told him what an asshole he was...the money was burning a hole in my pocket...yet he put me off...he should change jobs!!
Oh well...what a boring world it would be if we were all the same......quite sure there have been times when others may have thought similar thoughts about me too....lol.
How is the sunburn?....working today?...whatcha got planned?

Nature reserve, always good for fishing!
Detoxing, i tried that, but, didnt work the weekends always seem to come!
I think the sun-burn is ok, i seem to have gone a nice colour (for me anyway, im very pale) but one of the girls said, no Candice, your not brown, your red! Well for me this is the brownest ive ever been and everyone is still saying how pale i am, oh well lol
Yeah, i was working today, listining to everyone moan about the weather, when i all i wanted to do was go out and sun-bathe! Shift went quickly though, which is always good so just chilling for the night, wanted to go to the gym this evening for a class, but couldnt get a sitter followed by a few drinks after, oh well, just chill for the night instead! Went to the gym this morning as well, good session
Enjoy your evening

any partcular one you acn suggest?
Yeah weekends to tend to come round pretty quick!...trouble is in this house every day might just as well be a weekend...lol...so i thought i would take a few days out while a could.
Gonna get tuned this weekend though!!
Bummer about not getting a sitter...still like you say the weekend is almost upon you so you can let it rip a bit then. I tell you i am sooooo glad that i am not doing any real work at the moment...even a couple of hours in college is hard enough with this weather which is here for a while yet according to the WB...but i am told they cannot be relied on.
Also doing some good exercise in the mornings...hard walks followed by a little sesh here at home...it enough..but i am going to go for another walk with the dogs just now...should be nice as it is quite cool at this time.
Enjoy yours too.

Hell yeah...i truly feel sorry for you...and even sorrier for those poor buggars in offices ...specially the ones without air-con. I was in an old post office yesterday and this poor old girl was really battling with....must be murder in a kitchen too...can you imagine!!
No man...sesh is short for session...lol....i don't do yoga...i have slight work out with some small weights and a few stretching exercises followed by a bit of tai chi....good for the mind as well as the bod.
hey that will be nice of you...don't stress on it though sweetness...i will not be taking it too seriously.....havn't got the gear for starters.
The walk was very nice thanks...just a quickie..but nice...saw loads of rabbits so the dogs were having a whale of a time chasing them...no chance of catching them of course.

Ok, there are so many 'new' workout programmes out there is is unreal, can never keep up with all the names lol
My poor mate, she is stuck in an office, and the air-con is broken! I used to work in a kitchen, when i was in college, and the summers, god, night-mare!
Ill ask one of the guys, not a prob. One of them always comes in during the day for a pint, he goes fishing all the time.

Nonametraveller Posted Aug 7, 2003
Lol...just my own thing ...no special programmes really. There is nothing duuhh about you either hun....lol.
Aish...sorry for your mate...someone was justv telling me that the unions are getting uppity about that sort of thing and are expected to make rulings about walking out if the temperature in the workplace rises above a certain level...dead right i would say too.

It does sound nice ...but the thing is i have been living on salads and sardines and other cold stuff for a week so tonight i made a pot of Veggie risotto...will have it with my lunch tomorrow too. I love my veggies...get cravings for them sometimes..

Sounds very nice. Really dont think i could stand in a kitchen on an evening like this and cook though!
Im going to go, Ive had a headache all night and it feels like its going to get quite bad, so going to bed before it develops any further!
Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Veggie risotto is easy though...i cut it all up and bang it into a pot of rice...the only cooking bit really is frying some onions and garlic in olive oil to start after that i just let it cook for about ten minutes on its own..switch it off ..put the lid on and let the water soak for about twebty minutes and it is perfect...
Plus i am lucky here withb the kitchen...it is about the sive a the average living room in England.
I'm sorry to hear about your headache...probably all the sun
Sleep well candice..sweet dreams...catch up with you soon. NTx

mmmmmm, take it easy while working a Friday night, ill prob end up getting hammered! As we can get away with drinking while we are working, then my boss always has lock-ins over the weekend. Actually i think he is away again, so if the manager is on, then it will def end up in a drink's fest prob wont get out until the early hours! Ive got to sort out the rest of the hen-night today, the last few bits to be done! Hopefully it will all go ok!
Yeah, i hate head-aches, i very rarely get serious ones, but when i do, ouch, they hurt, and the one last night seemed like it could have quite easily have gone like that, thats why i went to bed, so i could sleep through it lol if that makes sense!
