Yeah us women wear beer goggles too,tho its hard to imagine women ever doing such a thing, yunno with us all being so prim an proper and ever so ladylike.
I can recall a few occassions when ive snogged someones face off,only to see them in better light,and sober,and to slap meself around my face and ask meself,did i have sh!t in me eyes that night..one was that copper last year,,if i see him now i sortta hide,or leave the pub very quickly and completely avoid eye contact,its all embarrasing,i know it was only a snog or two ,but for gods sake i think i need my eyesight checking and my head for that matter,..
yunno ale has alot to answer for doesn't it??,

I have come off my night shift this morning,ive yet to get any sort of shut-eye,but no doubt i'll get about an hours sleep then have to be awake to pick little-un up from school,....oh the joys of single life eh!! ,the ex wouldn't even consider helping me out to take or pick up little-un from school,gobsh!te as he is.

oh well this was the second time ive written this because i ened up pressing a button i shouldn't have,completly deleting the first messagestupid me

Glad to hear you have beer goggles too, as you say alcohol gets you into all kinds of embarrassing situations, I've snogged people who I really shouldn't have, not because they were ugly but because of who they were. And every time I go out I am always determined not to get that drunk again, but it's no use and I often end up with my tongue down some poor unfortunate girls throat..... uggggh !!!, I am sure a horrible experiance. But coppers, what are they like.....looks like you have had first hand experiance though .

I am actually ill , what is it with you women, why do you not believe us blokes when we say we have flu, I am sure it's got something to do with all that child birth stuff, and all the pain you go through.. etc...etc..and how us men are all softies and couldn't handle that amount of pain . I am sure you girls exagerate childbirth, it can't be that bad........stands back and waits for the eruption....

Actually I have just had a hot bath and feel a little better so I am now going to try and eat something for the first time in two days.

Did not get any beter in fact I got worse , been in bed for the last two days and just got back from the doctors, I have a chest infection and have been given a sick note for a week. Am on antibiotics but no ointment so you wont be able to come round and rub it into my manly chest not that it is a manly chest you understand !.

So off work for a week but wont be able to go to Wigan tomorrow night after all , was looking forward to that. Next friday if I am well its back out round town , but I do need a night out.

No more texts from the bunny boiler so that is good news, not much more to tell you really, i will just check if you are on line, if not speak soon,

Sorry it's been a week since i posted last,i haven't been at all well,very sickly ,dizzy,chest pains,back pains,can't sleep or eat and just totaly felt like sh!te,i still do,i too am off work now,docs give me a sick note for 2weeks,and if i'm no better then i have to go back for tests due to the pains in my chest,its awful,i feel like me chest is caving in and the pain is bad,aswell as the pains in my back too,its just really uncomfortable to try and breath without it hurting,so i'm having difficulty sleeping and eating...i'm on antibiotics and they don't seem to be working as of yet ,although i have only been on them 4days,so i suppose i'll have to give them time to work......

Anyway hows you???,has the manflu gone yet??
Sorry ive no ointment to rub in my womanly chest either..

Hello Em, sorry to hear you are ill,

I am not much better, went to doctors this morning and got a sick note till Monday, I also had to go to St Helens hospital for a chest x ray, the doctor seems a bit concerned that the cough is not improving after a week of antibiotics. I had only been back from the hospital for about an hour when I got a phone call from them asking me to return as they needed to take some more x-rays, nothing to worry about they said .

I feel ok in myself just can't get rid of this cough and I have now been given some stronger drugs. Well anyway I am still going out tomorrow night I am going mad stuck in the house.

Sounds like you have the real flu, what has the doctor said ?. Pains in your chest and back, you really are in the wars . I am sure you will be back on your feet soon and then I will dash round with the ointment .

It's really weird, I had not checked for any reply off you for a couple of months, then last night I read a few of our old conversations which made me smile. Now I had logged onto h2g2 to look for something else and there was a message from you.

Life goes on much the same for me, work, sleep and the odd beer.

Was abit worried about you, your last post was about how ill you were, then nothing, thought you might have snuffed it !!.

Hope you are well, you must be made up with Embrace being on the telly alot with the England song, I believe you like the lead singer, Danny is it ?.

Still out round town alot ?, and has the Knight in shinning armour arrived yet ?.

....No i haven't snuffed it yet,ive not done with this world just yet..
Not really been out much since before christmas,was out last friday though,didn't drink cuz i was driving,ive actually stayed off the ale for awhile now,giving me liver&kidneys a rest.

I'm still very much single,so no i haven't seen my knight in shining armour,i dont think he exists..

Phhwwwoooooorrrrrr Danny McNamarra,yeah now he's gonna marry me,he just doesn't know it yet,i was clinging on to his legs 2wks ago,I won tickets of the radio to go and watch them in a small venue,well i was right at the front,the stage wasn't that high,so everytime he came and sang near me i just had to feel him up,got some pretty good photos too....to be honest i haven't actually heard the football theme yet,though i have heard from a couple of people that its pretty naff??,

oh well i'm knackered now,was up when the sparrows farted this morning,and will be the same in the morning

Worked nights at the weekend, the usual stuff, this bloke smashed up his ex partners car and when I arrested him he seemed very pleased with himself. Told me I couldn't intimidate him as he was a bodyguard in Iraq, do these people not realise I am not interested in them or their pathetic lives!, he thought I would be impressed and that he was James Bond or something. Anyway his ex was a babe .

My poor son is having girlfriend problems, he is only 16 and seeing a girl from school. He finished with her recently as these youngesters do, and she then decided to kill herself and took an overdose. She ended up in hospital but survived, now Jacob feels guilty and is upset, obviously what she wanted. It's bad enough being 16 without all that extra pressure, just his luck, his first girlfriend turns out to be a bunny boiler !, he now says all women are bonkers, can't disagree with him on that one . Are you still getting harassed from your ex's new girlfriend.

Afternoons this weekend which means I will be standing in Westfield Street Friday and Saturday night, so if you are out and you see a pissed off looking bobby it will probably be me.

Dear Em , lovely to hear from you after all this time , where you been !.

I don't spend much time on here so I was lucky to catch your message so quick.

Things are ok with me, usual crap, we did have a death in the family two weeks ago, the partners sister killed herself, only 35, no clue as to why, didn't leave a note or anything. The funeral was on Monday, she loved horses so they had a horse drawn hurst, I thought it would be a bit chavy but they looked very classy, a sad day though.

What about you ? hope you and your son are ok, did that knight in shinning armour arrive yet?.

yea well like i said,i really couldn't be bothered much to come on-line...but i'm back now...well a little bit.I will lurk and read more often now.

I have had quite a hectic summer,,had all my house done from top to bottom,,eg/...plasterin.tiling, floor releveling, wooden flooring put down throughout,electrics done,plumbing done,new bathroom suite..etc... its cost a fortune but its needed it,,so ive only really moved back in this week.but the place is still a tip and still need stuff doin,like paintin and cleaning..but i'll do those along the way.
I'm having a party tomorrow,so if your on the beat and get a call for noise disturbance,,dont come...heehee..its my first party in years,so im having a house warming/halloween fancydress party.ive warned me neighbours..

No i haven't found me knight..i dont even look anyway...oh but i have really he's the lead singer in Embrace...its a shame he doesn't know me yet.....although he did say my name on radio lastweek and did let me have tickets to go and see them that night,,well that was 2weeks ago,and ive been watching them again lastweek too....god things you have to do just to drool over someone...

Looks like you are becoming a bit of a celebrity stalker !, what will you do when Embrace split up.

Hope the party went OK and that your house is still in one piece, did not get any calls too a noisy party, so I presume it must have gone off ok. Was stuck in Westfield Street all night, there were plenty of people out in fancy dress but I did not have the party spirit, the clocks went back an hour so I had top work and extra hour without getting paid any more.

Halloween tonight and I am just about to start carving a pumkin !, then I will be taking Helen trick or treating, just to family and friends, I don't think you should go to strangers houses and luckily its quiet round here most Halloweens.

Well your probably the only one in the neighbourhood that didnt hear me party then......it was a good party that ended up bad,,just too much ale flowin n too may drunk people,,,silly things happen..tho everything is fine...

Me,my dog and two friends ..had five children between us went trick or treatin...didnt really go to many houses..but the kids ended up with loads of sweets...
Even though i had my house/window deccys up for halloween,i didnt seem to get many trick or treaters...but most of them had adults with them,,,which i'm glad about.. noway would i ever let my child go on his own....

Anyway,ive gotta dash,gotta get a shower,then ready for work...

I've had abit of a mad month,,Well ive met me knight in shining armour,,at long last,and he's not from round here,in fact am still recovering from his works christmas party at the weekend,,it was at the hilton hotel in birmingham,,abit of a treck down there for me on me own,but it was fun,,and i got very drunk,but it was all free ale,so i had to take advantage..(as ya do),the only bad thing about it was i had to dress up like a lady for once,i had to wear a dress,,i think the last time i wore a dress was in 1997,when i was a bridesmaid for me sister,,,,so i felt abit uncomfortable,,but after a few drinks i didn't care,but i carried it off quite well,,until i got really pi$$ed and then became a geezerbird again,,
