I know what you mean about feeling old Smurfles, I told Mk2 on here 54th birthday last year, that she was the oldest woman I had been out with, she didn't take so kindly to that, funny women aren't they

i remeber when we only had 3 or 4 tv channels and the liceince was only about £5.lol
-
now its just gone to £135-50, and the channels have increased, but we still see the same programmes from back when it was 4 and £5.lol

Smudger879n Posted Sep 5, 2007
The cost of progress then would be £130.50
I know what you mean though It it was not for the repeats they would have nothing to show

I got some fond memories back today - we watch Something for the Weekend on BBC2 on Sunday mornings. And they were showing clips of Hong Kong Phoey. Ah... I was about 9 then - happy days.

hi all
-
i dont know why, but a memeory of a shop in my town comes to mind,
-
freeman, hardy and willis, the connection was a foul i made of myself when i was at school.some of you probably did the same lol
-
on a saturday night, me and a few mates would go to the shop, across from the cinema, dressed in our best things, and chat the lasses as they went by, in all the time we did it, i can never, ever remember getting off with one lass, lol
-
its makes me think hoe desperate in the school days lads where to stand ina doorway and jump out infront of a lss, sometimes get a wack in the chops, but do the same stupid thing ever week. lol
-
by the way sal, billy was one of the idiots then to lol jim

On another thread we have been talking about radios with dials that you could turn to tune them in. They seem to have died a death but were great for getting to hear things that weren't totally 100% to listen to, but interesting anyway.

I used to listen to a radio station that was nearly but not quite on top of (I think) Luxembourg. But I can't remember now!
