Hi there pinky. It's so nice to see familiar people posting again.
My garden is bloomin at the moment, and looks lovely, although it looks a lot nicer i the sunshine than it does in all the rain!!
I'm having another attempt at the ,and theyre doing well(so far).
The rose i planted for mum died off,but it's back.i was getting worried it had gone for good.
I got some eidelweiss in the rockery too..it's so pretty.
I wonder why flowers cheer us all up so much?

Hi Folks, Only wish I had a nice wee garden story to tell, but the fact is that the sad Ba****d next door to us, (the one we had to call the police about with his threats)has thrown a bucket of bleech over our favourite rose bush! And killed it
It was the only rose bush out of them all that they couldnt get at from the pavement, as they were well destroyed weeks ago They got to it form his garden, and the smell of bleech was still all around it when I went to try to save it by cutting it back, and soaking it with water in the hope of diluting the bleech! Of course he knows nothing about it
What nice people we have living round us here God I cant wait to move away

Gosh smudger that is mean of them
My long gone neighbor poured oil along the fence line to kill weeds
The other one killed all the bees a few years back.
*sigh*
The new one wanted my trumpet vine chopped downand my hubby did it a severe pruning! He is not cutting it again (for them) during the growth season if I can help it. It is on our side but grew higher than the fence, exactly like I wanted. I will try to coax it towards the middle of the yard with a giant bare unbrella frame. They can make lovely umbrella - tree looking vines

This is indeed a yet another bad memory for us all
It seems the whole western world is their target
Yet we will never give in to these cowards

Quite a few memories during the last couple of weeks.I got an e-mail inviting us to new zealand for a holiday...fro someone i havent seen for over 40 years!!!!
A couple of days later got an e-mail from an old school friend, who moved away 40 year ago.
Friday was our wedding anniversary(38 year),but would also have been my mums birthday,we had a good day with the family ,and no sadness, which i was happy about. It should have been that way,it was the day she was born!!!
Today i got an e-mail from a girl who used to live next door to us,,i haven't heard from them since they moved..many years ago.She used to play with my children when tthey were little!
Bet you can't guess..i just renewed my membership on friends reunited.

I am having a problem with my pages not refreshing- my posts do not show and I cannot seem to unsubscribe unless I use f5 each time which is a painI don't think it's the site, must be something about my new set-up or preferences.
Anybody got a clue as to what to do?
I Might have to go to the "How do I?" page.

Smurfles glad you are having so much fun!
Hmm some travel coming up to see old friends maybe?Nice!
I would go someplace other than Florida this year (given the choice).
Might be worth considering another spot for your travel if you have not decided for sure yet.

Hi folks, Remember that rose bush that my neighbour poured bleach over? Well it is back in bloom!! One large beautiful yellow rose blooming like a beacon, like giving him the finger
Another 4 buds on the way as well, I gave it all our tatty scrapings along with the contents of several T bags, just to help it grow, and it has

Oh smurfles IGNORE me.
PLEASE!
IN 2 weeks and the end of Hurricane season comes.
I was worrying too much after the recent events.
Sorry. Finally I can post and I scare you! EEK!
I am glad you get to go.I am sure you'll have a good time.
I know you like the Sizzler.
Try Black Eye Pea or Joes Crab Shack if you feel like a change.
If you absolutely love sea food, the fish docks often cook and serve it right off the boat. Nothing fancy but the best and cheap if you want your fill! I did that with lobster in Maine
