aye, i've still got many vynil records smudger.... singles and albums, a few 12inch singles... we have a turn table on the hi fi but it's rarely used at the mo.....
i too have that leapy lee on cd....

leapy lea is living abroad now,works in clubs,and is married with twins,about four year old i think!!!he did a holiday show with nadia sawalha summer before last!!!!
i got rid of my record player too,so cant play the singles and lp's i hve either!!
stilleto heels were my favourites!!!

i had a tune going around in my head last night, i knew wot it was and who by, but could i think wot programme it had been used for.... avenue's and alleyways by tony christie.... well sal to the rescue again... the persuaders... roger moore and tony curtis...

Ah! Abbi, I think it was a case of, "you had to be there"
As regards to tunes, it took me ages to track it down, but I got in the end, it was, the tune in the film "The Mission" the flute bit
it was called, "As it was in Heaven"

hi all it was the floral dance,and the brighouse and raistrick brass band did it too!!!!!
ABBI,winkle pickers were shoes with a really pointed toe..i got my first corn wearing them(as if anyone needs to know that))i was only 17,and i got a lot of sympathy.....""well.if you will wear shoes that squash your toes up like that""

Ah! yes, I remember wearing my winkle-pinkers along with my sky blue jeans, and of course the manditory white "T" shirt and blck leather jacket! with a quiff in my hair (when I had hair that is)

Do you remember those rubber platex girdles.my mother insisted i wear one after i had my first bab.oh it was awful,she reconed it would get my tum back to normal....it did'nt work
