t say the same for the last couple of days,i've been busy,and not done anything!!!!hairdresser,chiropodist,and th shopping mall,all in one day!!!

don't mind it warm during the day, but at night i like it a bit cooler to sleep.... the air feels heavy here....

Cool nights are a big reason I have stayed in this area.
The temperature drops nicely at nightfor comfy sleeping.

I noticed this today when I went to buy MK2 an electric fan, to cool her down

Many of the 50's things are again.
They are making those kitchen tables and chairs again.
They have a cut out in the back of the chair and have viynl seats and linoleum tops with metal wraped around the sides, adjustable top size.
I was looking at an entertainment timeline.
I remember looking at my first TV through the screen door of a neighbors house back then.

Mind you, for someone who was around during the 50s, I never imagined that technoligy would go so far as it has
Another point to remember is that the population of the world has Doubled since those days!, now that is scary

I agree with you Smudger.
So You all know how fashions return,Have you seen the poncho's have come back,i remember my mom knitting the kids them way back.will have to get my crochet hook/knitting needles out.

i made ponchos as well,and the the children had them brought back from spain,which was a real treat back then!!!AND I STILL THINK SOME OF THE MINI'S LOOK LIKE BELTS!!!wish i could still wear em though!!!

poncho's eh.... my gran made me a couple of them. loved wearing them.... ah yes, bell bottoms...
i remember glam rock first time round in the 70's... platform shoes, glitter make up, big hair, catsuits... lol..
never looked as good on me as it does on justin from the darkness...

Evening folks
I had a lovely midnight blue coat,mock suede, with a hood,and white fur down the front with toggle fastening,thought i was glam,and the platform shoes too,still had a pair up till last year.my gdaughter could',nt beleive i used to be that trendy LOL going back even futher remember those realy wide belts we used to wear,i had a 23 inch waist then.

HI ALL.i have a picture somewhere of myself on a school trip...tight jeans,with the bottoms turned up,and a imitaton suede jacket!!!!I was about 15 then.i never quite got the knack of getting on buses in my tight skirts though,remember having to flick your leg to one side to stride anywhere???
