Hi sheryl, hi abbi...I'd tried posting before, got the "Gateway Timeout - server unreachable" error message *rolls eyes* & a bunch of 'in limbo'-like delays. Anyway, am about 2/3 of the way through what will be a very long day (& end with vodka sheryl .) Got up before 8, to walk in a big annual fund-raiser here http://www.GreatHumanRace.com , did the 3 k walk, then stopped at the Farmer's Mkt. on the way home for blueberry bagels, etc.

Used up a bit of the afternoon getting the 'ACE ball' rolling, hopefully doing some subconcious resting, because in just over 2 hrs I head over to the club ( http://www.yardbirdsuite.com sheryl), to do my 7 hrs or so there...so while you're likely sleeping soundly sheryl I'll probably be opening the first of 2 or 3 Smirnoff's Ice.

I have heard of the race you are speaking of too. My plan to ride wheel in it fell through. My closet buddy and *walker* has pancreatitis and is not well today. They had told her last year it was cancer. I sure hope they are right about her diagnosis.

Yeah, real nice abbi...after a 3 k walk under cloudless skies, it was good to get into some shade again...actually, just chatting to a wheelchair user (relative newbie) from Liverpool ~ U227081 .

Pencil Queen has an article in the collaborative writing workshop (F57152?thread=271116) and needing inspiration/information etc

It is about wheelchairs. She needs practical chair info and hints for any and all sorts of situations. If anyone can lend a hand with ideas you can post to her there and read what she has so far

Right, I do stay reasonably busy...was just accross town visitin' a handicapped mate I've known for years...plan on just relaxin' & spendin' some time online tonight (reminds me luv, there's a 7 hour time difference - its about 5pm here now...would be about midnight there.) morning darrell, (well it's morning here.. lol) the weather is yuk... wet n windy... the sun is trying to peep thru', but fighting a losing battle at the mo....
my neck doesn't seem quite as bad today thanx... i suffer from arthritis n spondylosis, that's what causes the pain n dizzy spells.... think i'd caught a bit of a chill as well, so that didn't help....
i've got no plans for today as yet, unless we decide to go into town later.....
