"handcuffs"
"damnably tall"
"lurking in the doorway"
So, is everyone convinced that I'm not the woman in the picture?
I'll have to find another picture sometime.

'Azahar and Friends'
I think we need a theme-tune sung by an Australian soap-star turned failed pop singer. If only Dannie Minogue knew about Hootoo...

Well, so far today we have had 59 visitors to our gallery and 824 'hits', which means each time a photo is clicked on (my visits to the site aren't counted).
I want to say to all of you who have thanked me for setting this up that - heck - I could hardly have done it without you!
So there.
Fun, innit?

Anhaga, I'm glad you might be the female in the picture. Everybody knows that only firefighters and porn stars have moustaches! But wait, around here the only women who wear oversized plaid shirts are either biker chicks or logger's wives!

anhaga Posted May 17, 2004
The only logger I know is a woman.
She's a fire-fighter, too.
A B.C. fire-fighter.
And she doesn't have a moustache.
Or a wife.
I wonder if she has an over-sized plaid shirt.

Az, I emailed you a link to a photo of me. Please feel free to put it up, even if it was taken at a rave in 2000 and is not 100% accurate.

"If you don't spot this, please let me know and we can arrange for some help . . ."
I thought it might be one of those tests for color-blindness or something. "If you see two pillowcases, your sight is perfect. If you see two zebras and a guy in a black t-shirt, go immediately to the nearest emergency room!"
The "Krispy" comment was alluding to a Far Side cartoon http://public.fotki.com/Mudhooks/illustrations/cartoons/polarbears.html
If you like Far Side, you will love this "Worth 100" contest to "Photoshop" Far Side cartoons. Hilarious.

Anhaga, admit it, yer the old geezer in the middle!
You could be a woman logger who wears a plaid shirt and has a wife!! Why not?
Or a pornstar firefighter (of either gender, or perhaps both)!

Some of my more immediate thoughts about the photo album...
Azahar, you total liar! Pounds? What pounds?!
Blicky, I just don't understand. My hair can be half the size of yours, yet it looks like some sort of nebula. Your hair must take ages to get so perfect! I like!
~jwf~, all I can say is, WOW! What a beard! I had the impression that you were about twenty, for some reason... Well, you'd be perfect for the part of Dumbledore, playing alongside R. Daneel (as Harry Potter). However, Daneel doesn't really cut it when you compare him with my flatmate James... I'm sure fans look at him and ask him for autographs! (I wonder if I can get him to send a photograph?)
Saturnine, your hair stunned me. I didn't know quite what to expect (I'm disappointed that I couldn't see a corset in evidence), but your hair is so stunningly blonde and your complexion is perfect - I wonder if you're albino? I can't really tell what colour your eyes are...
Noggin, you look just like I envisioned you - you make me think instantly of my more enthusiastic science/maths teachers. Likewise Matholwch, who will have no problems fulfilling my stereotype.
Montana, LOVE the hair - I have a thing about redheads!
Ste's second photograph is slightly overpowered by the panoramic backdrop, and has further fuelled my desire to get out of the UK. You chose that one just to show off, didn't you?!
I liked the funky zebras...
Um, why are we calling anhaga a porn star? I'm not sure if I'm stereotyping, but I don't think many porn stars could quote Milton...?

I'm not a natural blonde.
It takes a lot of work and conditioner to get it looking like that. But my skin is very very pale. I wasn't wearing any make up in either of those pictures.
And my eyes are as green as you can get.

Don't worry, I won't tell anyone!
That would be why it's so incredibly tame! My hair generates enough static through frizz to support New York for a week, some of it is siphoned off so we can us a Flymo for the biannual cut. Perhaps you could give me a few tips?
And you don't need makeup with skin like that, girl! Heck, it would be like putting a paper bag over your head!

Oh man, my hair gets frizzy. It has a horrific natural curl to it (not tight, but wavy enough to mess with the fringe)
Just don't blow dry or rough dry it. Let it dry naturally - and use hair serum. John Frieda's Emergency Treatment Leave In Conditioner is the best.
(is glad no one can see her hair right now)
Also, I do have spots. Trust me. I just don't seem to get it bad. It's weird, because both my parents had terrible acne when they were teens. But then, I take care of my skin. I drink looooads of water.
*feels quite self conscious now*
