Piet Suite of entries
Posted May 3, 2003
Well, I've dropped some more entries into the vat of PR to see if they come out crispy.
A1034731 Piet Hein - Danish polymath
A1029845 The Superellipse
A1040176 The Game of Hex
and all before my first entry on Celtic Knotwork A1011826 hits the front page

It's been picked!
Posted Mar 31, 2003
I guess this will become less exciting with future Entries, but my first Entry has been picked for the Guide
If I could only work out why my vertically scrolling MARQUEE winged smiley was screwing up my ability to use links I'd be ecstatic .

Must work! Not use h2g2.
Posted Mar 28, 2003
I'm trying to restrict my use of h2g2 while at work.
It is having a bad effect on my output and exercise - I used to go for a walk to the beach at lunchtime.
Earlier this week was frustrated - couldn't think of any subjects to write Entries about that hadn't already been covered by an Edited Entry.
Now I have a few ideas:
Diving with sharks
Piet Hein, poet and inventor
Grooks
Soma Cube
Superellipses
The Isle of Man
Archibald Knox, artist
T.E. Brown, poet
Has anyone written effectively about any of these?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
