so not a big fan of the original star trek then?
i have to confess to liking x-files too. used to watch babylon 5 years ago when it first came out, but terrestrial tv stopped showing it so i kinda lost track of it.

so true. we've got a queen fan club and a lightsaber store, but nowhere to get your tricorder fixed or ask directions to alpha centari.
such a shame!

hello!
don't worry about intruding. the more trekkies the better.

i'm not sure which my favourites were/are. like them all, but have to admit that the effects on the original look a tad dated and hence naff. but they're all good.
Greetings fellow Trekkie!
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Dec 29, 2004
i know. its true. but i guess it was the best they had at the time.
i like it anyways.
spock is totally my favorite
Greetings fellow Trekkie!
NPY Posted Dec 29, 2004
have to break it to you then - i have a 6 foot cardboard spock in my room.
Greetings fellow Trekkie!
NPY Posted Dec 30, 2004
you want one too? i actually got it in a cult shop (you know, one of those ones that sells uniforms and mugs and stuff like that?) in Belfast, but i'm sure most big cities would have a shop that sells that sort of stuff.
Greetings fellow Trekkie!
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Dec 30, 2004
of course i want one too!!!
thats just way too cool!
...i live in a little town, no cult shops... and i'm totally lost in the bigger city, wouldnt even know where to start looking...
Greetings fellow Trekkie!
NPY Posted Dec 30, 2004
i know the feeling. where i live isn't exactly a village, but cities are just too big for me. Belfast's big enough, but i've been to London, Paris, Bucharest and Budapest and they're just terrifyingly huge.
Greetings fellow Trekkie!
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Dec 30, 2004
i wonder if they'd have it in the phone book... under 'cardboard spock'...
somehow i dont think i'd be that lucky...
if i went into town by myself i'd be going in circles, and totally lost. i definately need to go wiht someone who knows what they're doing. i think i'll ask my freind if she knows where i might find one....
Greetings fellow Trekkie!
NPY Posted Dec 31, 2004
so what's the nearest city to where you are?
just having a look inn yellow pages too see if i can give you a pointer........
Greetings fellow Trekkie!
NPY Posted Dec 31, 2004
well i looked up "science fiction shops" and it directed me to try under "collectors items" or "comics". hope that's of use.
Greetings fellow Trekkie!
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Dec 31, 2004
well i live in western canada... so i think its probably too far away for you to help me by the sounds of it. but thank you very much for trying!
collectors items and comics you say... hm... i'll have to go and look that up.
thanks!!!
Greetings fellow Trekkie!
NPY Posted Jan 1, 2005
well i had to try. i couldn't see a fellow trekkie left stranded.
so where in canada are you from? i'm from a particularly damp (esp. today) part of northern ireland.
