No one will ever be as good as the Pixies. I liked Seafood's single though.

I know it's not punk, but I got the Dancehall Crashers Live Album yesterday. It's cool, I got a £15 voucher for my b'day, so that got spent quite quickly. I was surprised to get an album in 'HMV' for £15, I normally find albums i want are more...

Can't do anything against it. They forced us to use them last year, you know? smiley - winkeye

I like the idea of Euros. Ordering stuff from the continent and going on holiday would be so much easier if Britain had them smiley - smiley

There are few good ska bands, but I'm afraid that 95% of the ones I've heard suck.

The general idea is that the European economy would be so much better off if Britain and Denmark (and whoever else opted out) were in the Euro...

The inflation is scary, but I quite like the idea of being able to compare prices between countries.

I blame it on the stupid patriots, Conservative party and right-wing media who want to keep the pound. I spend a lot of the time being ashamed of my country...

It would be so easy to not have to have the hassle of exchange rates and currency conversion all the time.

I miss French francs, but Italian lira were a bit hard to understand.

S'right about the nationalist mob, Rocket Man.

Lira were easy though! Multiply by three and add three 0s - or the other way divide by 3 and knock three 0s off... much easier than dividing by two and multiplying by three or whatever it is you do with euros.

But I agree that French francs were the easiest of all.

The trouble with the lire was that we had so many different coin sizes because periodically National Mint designers would go berserk and come up with new (and invariably ridiculous) formats. The change was easier than with Francs, though.

The other trouble with the lire was that you never had enough *sigh* same as with euro, really.

Hey, I just loved the different coin sizes and looks... at least, I still can stick with icelandic coins.... smiley - winkeye

Rocketman, perhaps I could arrange for you to obtain a copy of the Mike Ness album I have, if you're interested... not that I'm advocating copyright infringement, mind. smiley - devil

With Hotmail, you'll get spam whether you like it or not and despite all your precautions...

Rocket Man, I've sent an e-mail off to you just now. I'd love to do a swap, although I'd be perfectly happy to send it with no strings attached. I'll have a look at your list, I know you posted a link a while back.

What a beautiful day!

Woke up at 9.00 am after spending a funny night with my boyfriend and a 18year old friend of us, spent the morning with this friend - Mohican, lots of studs on his jacket -, got my e-bayed Harrington, made some coffee for this boy - who could be my son, I'm 38 - had lots of funny talk... and now we will be off to the Zoo with his little brother!

There are days to love your life!
