I've had very good news from my publisher... he suggested all manner of publishers who might be interested in my new book. He might even talk to them about it.

I'm excited (and sodden - it's pi**ing down and freezing cold today).

*holds her head and is suffering of a brilliant hangover*

Seems I get old... I mean, all the people I was hanging around with last night could have been my children...

I also have a habit of hanging out with people who could be my younger brothers and sisters (by a long shot!) It's refreshing. Being a mentor is also very enjoyable

I didn't drink last night, but the spring is playing tricks on me... I'm drowsy. Thank God it's only ten minutes before I come off work. It's been a hard day.

New day, next hangover... the nice things about having a week off...

Forgot to say: Some of those kids here are not very nice behaving talking to an old lady like me ... Some of them seem not to keep in mind they'll become 38 one day as well... Anyway, the best friends of my boyfriend don't care, don't behave like "Grandma, go out of my way" - and it's lots of fun hanging around with them. Leaving out the hangover, I feel quite young at the moment, which goes perfectly well with the spring!

I was sorting RL probs and am still fairly busy catching up late work. I won't be able to spend as much time on line as I used to in the near future but will try to pop round now and then.

Killing Joke are recording an album with Dave Grohl on drums! Anyone know any more info?

I'd heard that the new Killing Joke album is due out sometime in June. Killing Joke ROCK- I'm really looking forward to getting it! The only other bit of info I'd heard was that Andy Gill (Gang of Four) is doing the mixing and production work.

I'm doing great - in fact I just wrote a reccommendation for Gang of Four's 'Entertainment!', which is possibly my favourite album. Check out A1046738.

I'm hanging on... listening to Killing Joke at the moment... feeling a bit aggro and all that... won't be quiet for long, though, I'm sure.

I'd never even heard of Gang of four until I read this thread - I must be so out of touch. I might buy some of their stuff if I see it at a reasonable price.

Hey Rocket Man... yeah, I'm okay, just really cranky. No worries with the CD, I'm looking forward to seeing what you've selected and being pleasantly surprised! I'm actually listening to the Mike Ness album at the moment... nearly bought the Johnny Cash yesterday, when I do finally get it, perhaps you'd like it?

Gang of Four is great, I haven't got any of their stuff on CD, and will definitely have to one day soon! "Entertainment" might be a good place to start.
