Yes, the ladies are very amenable, I mean amiable.
My finest moment was a 100-man brawl in the Mighty Fine pub in Portsmouth started by my mate when he insulted a dwarf hooker. (I kid you not )

I had to leave that in isolation, i was proud of it. Hey, what was that number? I'm tempted to ring it to find out

I left a message asking him to ring me when he got back from Cliff Richard's gaff in Portugal, or visiting Ruth Turner in Holloway.

Just reading that bureacracy thread you started reminded me of a marvellous little number we had round this way at one time.
South Oxfordshire District Council were looking for an update on their image. (This was pre-housing associations, so they WERE just a council) They had quite cleverly, years before, incorporated the famous White Horse of Uffington into their corporate logo, stealing a march on their rival, The Vale of The White Horse council.
S.O.D.C vans were resplendant in their livery of the white horse on a green downland background.
This was the late 80's though, and they needed to be more forward looking, they needed a go-get image, they needed to re-brand. So they called in some high powered image consultants, and threw a hefty part of the next year's budget at them. (Figures of close on £100,000 were banded about) Emptying the bins could wait, this was vital work.
Sooooooo, after around 6 months of power lunches, blue-sky meetings and market research, the image consultants pocketed their loot and left the results on S.O.D.C's desk.
A green horse on a white background!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I kid you not. Someone in the council must have thought........oh crap, they're going to kill us. A few vans were painted up, the local outcry was (as is to be expected) vocal, and tending on rabid at times. The idea was dropped, the vans were repainted, rates went up.........everyone happy then.
