*rummages in pockets*
*picks up ruler and the very thick rubber bands she uses at w*rk*
He he he... just you wait - have you ever noticed that using a ruler rather than your finger when shooting off rubber bands hurts the target more?

**Holds up a trash can lid to deflect the in-coming barrage.**
**Picks up the plethora of s and puts them on his ACME Automatic RubberBand Shooting Equipment (A.R.S.E), adds an entire bag to the hopper, and lets go a seemingly endless volley of return fire.**
Give up yet, do ya? Huh? Huh?!

Continuity is tricky - and the Salonistas are pretty fond of it - but hang in there!
Can't say that I'm perfect at it myself yet - but I'm getting there...

I guess I'm feeling a bit daft at the moment - would you care to decipher this for me?
(Gives Ti a hyoo-dzh -ee...)
the -ee I understand, but the hyoo-dzh?

If you'd happen to be one of the pantomime characters, then you'd better post in this conversation real soon...

Oh - so you thanked d'E but not me despite the fact that I dropped some links at your page before he did! I see, I see... *taps foot*
*shoots a whole series of s at B4, who is an easy target considering he hasn't even noticed her presence - yet*

Having once again laughed out loud (making my neighbours wonder for the Xth time if I'm a looney considering they never hear me talk to anyone but hear me laugh a lot) at a posting of yours at the Atelier...
...how did you come across the Atelier? How come you became one of the Salonistas? Do you remember?

Hmm... Lemme think about that series of connections that got me to the Atelier, Titania, and I'll tell ya in a moment. Sorry I missed your posting a week ago.

Come to think of it, I believe I was doing a "Who's Online" browse and spotted your 'handle' on the list (among others). The name itself piqued my interest, so I popped in to see what convos you were engaged in.
Once I watched the interactions at the Atelier, I noted it as a 'good place' to hang out. Y'all were also in the midst of the 'whodunit' entitled "A Masque," and I followed along the conversation.
Just like you've experienced from my jokes, that thread caused me to laugh out loud at the antics of the characters.
That had me hooked on the Atelier and the Salonistas as a group of people with whom I could become good friends. That thread also made me beg Lil to be included in the following production of the holiday pantomime, "The Mother of All Gooses." You may recall I was one of the first few characters to log on for the play.
Mind you, now, I'd only been hanging out on H2G2 for a couple of weeks before I found you and the rest of the Salonistas. Honestly, I'm grateful I did. There are a number of places on the BBCi that aren't as 'friendly' as the folk in the Atelier. I'm thankful for the sensibility Lil and everyone else showed when that harmony was threatened by 'one who shall not be named,' and we all weathered the storm gracefully.
You've been an exceptional 'regular' at the Atelier, and I always enjoy your postings. Even though you've given in to little 'rants' on occasion, I notice you still temper your tantrums with good manners and a view to logically working out your stirred up emotions. That's good.
So... That's more than you asked for, I'm sure, but it covers some things I remember and some things I would not otherwise have had opportunity to say.
By the way, how's that 'virtual keyboard' holding up? Haven't spewed anything in lately, have you?

Yesterday's news - you? Never!
Eh - virtual keyboard? Sorry, but I've had a lot on my mind lately, so I'm not quite as able to catch up as I usually am...
...on my way home from the London meet-up the lady in my row (with an empty seat between us) asked if I speak Swedish - turned out to be a Finnish lady who had been living in London for seven years and before that having lived in Sweden, and was now trying to refresh her memory of Swedish phrases...
...instead, we ended up happily chatting about this and that in Finnish, which *really* caused an overload on my brains...
OK, switching from one language (usually Swedish) between another (usually English) is OK, but then switching into/out of Finnish...
h2g2 was really a true haven once I discovered it (in the pre-BBC days, I might add). I had tried communicating with some people before that, mostly in chat rooms, but always seemed to end up with either hormonally challenged teenagers or dirty old men pretending to be steaming hot teenagers - and it all left me feeling a bit disappointed...
But I had read DNA's books, and once I found out there was an Earth Edition I with joy and rushed to join up as a researcher!
Oh, the joy of discovering people with a twisted kind of humour, crazy and completely mad - to find a place where I could just step right in and no one would point a finger at me saying 'Who's that?' but instead saying 'Hi and welcome!' before launching a at me...

Titania [the woman with more than one brain]:
It's good to hear you got along famously with someone on your return trip, and got a chance to exercise the gray matter!
Tell all about what a wonderful time it was at the HooToo Meet-Up and all the stuff that I missed because I'm trapped on ~this~ side of the Pond.
As for the "virtual keyboard", refer back to this thread's Post #17, and the near vicinity, for the context.
I've just made a startling discovery; an epiphany, if you will. "I, B4, have actually developed a running history on H2G2, and particularly in the Atelier and amongst the Salonistas." Everyone starts someplace, and as I've already said, I'm glad I happened upon y'all. It's made all the difference in my enjoyment of the site. It's nice to know DNA generated the idea for it and nurtured it, yet it's vitally important that the 'clientele' use it wisely. This I have found in the Atelier with its various and sundry personalities. Remind me to thank Lil once again for providing such a 'safe haven' to chat a bit and exchange ideas.
As you so poignantly put it, this is "...a place where I could just step right in and no one would point a finger at me..." in disapproval. Rather, this is a proverbial 'melting pot' for a rich variety of individuals to come together. We entertain each other, encourage one another, and actually show a degree of concern for the welfare of our fellowship. I intend to remain a vital part of that spirit in the Atelier.

Yurrp!
[He lands on his back and bursts out laughing, regardless.]
Ha-ha [ouch!] You just wait though [ung.] because when I catch up to you [growf!] you're gonna wish you hadn't started this...
[He springs off the ground--obviously no harm was done--and lands on his feet, crouched and wary, scanning for tell-tale signs of which direction Ti ran.]
Think you can get away, do you? HA! I'll just clone myself and chase you down, no matter where you thought to hide.
Okay, Gang! Let's split up and find her. Have your cannons at the ready...!
[The B4 Brigade rushes around madly, bumping into each other, toppling over one another, colliding with their counterparts, as well as the furnishings and the walls. It looks more like a psychotic game of pinball than a 'search and destroy mission'. Inadvertently, some of the cannons go off prematurely, showering the room with a hail of stretchy bands. The duplicate B4s scramble along the ground, attempting to gather the ammo, only to bang into each other and bounce off, creating even more mayhem.]
This isn't working out... [says one of the twelve identical B4 personages] Alright! Ah-TEN-Shut!!!
[All twelve snap to 'attention' and await the next order, though some have s hanging from various parts of their anatomy and clothing.]
Okay, Gentlemen. One more time. And let's get this right! AATTAAAACK!!!
[This time, there are fewer collisions, and they actually seem to be making some progress toward finding Ti when...]

You! Yes, YOU!! Stand STILL a minute!!!
[The B4 Brigade surrounds Titania as best they can, jostling each other in the process. As if in unison (well, actually it is in unison, because they're identical and can synchronize like that), they all raise their cannons, take aim, and fire a volley at Ti.]
So there!
