I seem to have run out of pest repellent.
*Calls into the back room.*
Sort! Would you bring out those café tables and chairs that were delivered this morning? Arrange them off to the side of the coffee machine, please. Traffic may pick up soon.
*Gets busy straightening up.*

Gosh! Isn't it unpopular around here at the moment

Very funny, Greydesk. You can be the floor show this evening.
*Starts a couple of fresh pots of coffee going.*
Hi, Caer! I think everything is under control at the moment.
Have a peak at the 24-Seven page, there's a guide to the place there. Ping hasn't been seen in ages, so there isn't any fresh soup.

*Heads back to the ICR with a tray and gathers a selection of cookies and pastries. Parcels them out on plates and puts a plate on each of the tables.*
See what I mean. It's always quiet in here. Usually just me and Sort rattling around.
*Sort looks up and his eye light passes back and forth several times. He resembles Gort from that classic scifi film. http://imdb.com/title/tt0043456/posters He starts browsing the scifi paper backs.*
He's been doing that often. I think he's halfway through the I, Robot series.

*Wanders in looking around brightly interested.*
Well, I suppose that I am getting out and about a bit more than usual. Silver lining and all that.
Better get lots of ice cream, Witty. I had to leave mine behind.

The Infinite Capacity Refrigerator is fully stocked, Sol. Just don't press the orange button, CLI technology, you know.

*Reaches under the counter.*
I swept it into this chinese take-out container for you. I knew you'd be back for it.

Bloody hell, I had forgotten what a complete pain Single Signon was.
This all feels a little cloak and dagger, but as has already been discussed, our flaming friend seems to be tracking people by following the links from their home pages.
Sorry to arrive so late.

Hope you don't mind.

Hi, Greensleeves. I'm glad you stopped in. Help yourself to some refreshments.

I have a strange craving for snack food at the moment. Prawn Crackers would be lovely, if there are any in among that Chinese food mentioned earlier.

*Sort pops out of an aisle with a box of prawn crackers in his hand and delivers them wordlessly to Greensleeves.*
Z, this is a very typical convenience store (for a space station). Please help yourself to whatever suits your fancy. Youse guys are my guests until this storm blows over.

* drags Karaoke machine across to the centre of the room *
* plugs it in somehow *
* slaps on a copy of John Denver's Greatest Hits *
* the floorshow begins... *
You fill up my senses
Like a gallon of Magnet
Like a packet of Woodbines
Like a good bit of stuff
Like a night out in....
Ooops sorry, wrong lyrics
* shuffles off in embarrassment to a darkened corner *
