Pit - ( Carpe Diem - Stay in Bed )

Terri, can´t we consider getting jajah dot com? Members have one hour free each per day for phoning each other - and P might find phoning customers a lot cheaper. This is not adverhooliganing, mind - I´m not connected with that firm.

Oooh, not heard of that one! We have some fiends on Skype, but the phone calls are often bad quality sound wise;maybe best if you emailed him with details in German? Meanwhile, yet more changes on h2g2, watch out for long user names! http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/F77636?thread=7070303 Tomorrow we take the for a bonking holiday; not easy rounding them up & putting them in the van; but worth it if we get nice healthy springy lambs! zdt

Sorry Terri for the late reply. Now and again I do see the solitary mouse it does scare me at first. It's a brown mouse and if I try and go near it, it runs away.

I don't have a pet myself as I have not had the experience of looking after a pet on my own. I have been interested in voluntary to work with animals but as the case with everything to do with Thurrock it's always in another borough but in this case another county and not in daily transport range. If I fostered a cat, I would have to either an extra seperate room or the garden fenced off.

Belated birthday greetings to P, very sorry they are late.smiley - bubblysmiley - giftsmiley - giftsmiley - bubbly

Hi all!

Hmm; Kat; seems like Thurrock is a bit limited for your self....is there any way you could move to somewhere a bit more suitable?

smiley - ta for P birthday greetings; it was low key; he wanted it that way. We also just had 'at his suggestion; i am useless with actual dates!) a small cosy night out at a restaurant to celebrate our 'One year Living together' thingsmiley - loveblush....we've had our moments; Trust is a big issue for both of us, but let's hope we can overcome that with lots of smiley - love on both sides.

The smiley - sheep are now safely on their bonking holidaysmiley - snork; the donkey Hootoo is being a Naughty Boy & jumping fences, but has been allowed back from Punishment Field (Our version of guantanomo bay in Eye Land) after having chased the poor doggy. He can take his chances with Molly the goat.smiley - evilgrin

I've got a poorly tooth & have appointment with dentist tomorrowsmiley - yuk, there is a huge "TO DO" list on the wall & meanwhile it's bloody freezing cold & wet here. We are wondering if this bodes good or bad for P's work; people may decide to stick with expensive but reliable electrity or wonder "Hmm; if it's windy, that means free power"?

His digital camera died & has gone to camera hospital in Germany; he needs it for w**k & is using my ancient Canon F1 meanwhile. The folk who made his Pentax say it's gonna cost 150 euros to sort, the local camera shop sells a new one for 140!

Throwaway society eh?

He bought me a hilarious singing, dancing puppy toy two days back; smiley - rofl it sings "Shout"smiley - musicalnote but i am driving him, smiley - catsmiley - catsmiley - dog insane by playing with it & the batteries seem to have died....or maybe been removed? (I have Evil Plan to replace them & place puppy with dancing ears in Strange Placessmiley - evilgrin)

Hi Terri there is very little chance of moving out of the borough (living in council property) and transfer to another borough as I would have to have a solid offer of work or family ties which I don't have as all my immediate family members are living in Thurrock. Also it is probiting expense to move and the only way round it was me to hire a van and then find a driver (I don't know anyone) to drive it as I don't drive.

*sigh* I know that situation Katsmiley - cuddle, it's awful. I can't really offer any advice; the only way i got out of France was via P & his van, i feel trapped even now 'cos of having no entitlement to Benefits for another year & nowhere to go.

Which is not to say i don't love P; i do, very much, but the finacial dependency issue gets in the way of real love; sad but true.

He's going off on a solo holiday soon, probably to Israel; thankfully Lady P will be showing him around , meanwhile i stay here & look after the smiley - sheepsmiley - dogsmiley - catsmiley - pony etc....i can't help feeling a bit resentful; but after all; he's supported me financially for a year now, he deserves a break from zendevils i guess!

I'd thought about me at the same time re-visiting Malawi; but it costs far too much: flights, accommodation, cattery etc...ah well.

What really p's me off is that it's all so sudden & i've been working hard on an Advent Calendar for him, which he should start opening on Dec 1st; he won't be here, so i abandon a project which meant i could give himsmiley - gift which cost nothing except a whole lotta smiley - love&smiley - artist stuff.Sounds a very trivial issue; but since i can't actually buy him anything, it was all i had to give.

Ah well. So it goes.

Terri, big hugs from me. I'm rather puzzled that P wants to take a holiday by himself. Doesn't sound nearly as fun as going with you. Well, you'll be there to welcome him home.

I'm doing pretty well. Nice birthday on the 19th, and then Thanksgiving coming up. Yes, all in all, doing nicely. I plan to bake some gluten free brownies.
