So sorry you seem to have had a tough school year Moose.
I have not *seen you smile* in months
How is all else or is that part of the problem?
All work and no play?

Actually, I didn't afterall, Roadkill, but it worked out very nicely all the same. I got a phone call at kind of the last minute, & since it's closeby I was there in a matter of minutes. Turned out to be an easy, relaxed type of evening - the music was a pleasant surprise, a local quartet calling themselves 'Chamber Graffiti'; guitar, standup bass, trumpet, & trombone. Actually quite melodic, a bit like some of the European improvisational groups I've heard, yet with distinctly north americaan sensibilities.

I would have killed for a phone call at the last minute. As it was my evening was direly spent.

Hi Terri, abi, Moose, Jazzy, Roadkill, Smudger I hope you are all keeping well.
It has been very quiet on h2g2 recently. I have French homework to do but no-one to practice with which makes it harder. The Creative writing is going well since I started to go to the library and use their pc's and save my work on a floppy. I get more ideas when I am using word. Moose I hope that the amount of homework you do gets lighter.

Ah, I had that problem with my French aural (or is it oral, I can never remember which one). What I did was, sit one of my sisters down who has a smattering of French, then talk at her for five minutes while she occasionally said "Ah, oui?" and then I'd continue. I even talked to my dog . She was actually a better audience because she had less of a tendency to start reading a magazine while I was in full flow.

Hi Kat, Niice to hear from you again, I like working in "word" as it highlights all my spelling mistakes as I go I tend to write very fast before the story line leaves my head!
