Hazel, I played league netball until four years ago and a sight for sore eyes the whole team was That's a thought Alistair, next time you have a boring Saturday, go down to the local sports centre and watch the wimmin play netball. I'm sure you would find it very theraputic and educational

chopsy, I played hockey before netball but gave it up because it is bl**dy dangerous. I got fed up with spending my Saturday evenings in casualty.

I was forced to play netball at school but the actual team seemed to want girls who could actually catch the ball!

Chopsy. I played CF too! I loved the game but I broke bones so often I thought I might have to grow my own. Netball isn't much different to be honest, it is a hell of a lot faster than hockey and despite being a no contact sport, is very physical. Hockey is a gay female game from what I remember of it ............Ha, got it, now I know why you were coming on to me the other night
