Vicki Virago - Proud Mother Posted Apr 7, 2008
Its been two weeks now since G dropped his bombshell. I've finally got my room set up at VC's so I do feel like I'm a little more at home now. Smoking like a chimney. 5 months of hard work out of the window.
I cry a lot. I get angry very easily.
I broke down in w*rk on Friday and ended up at the doctors. I am now under the local Mental Health Authority to help me get through this. Any help is good, but I now have a job interview for an Executive Secretary's position. If I get it, how would I go about saying to them that I need to go for my "sessions" once a week?
I've now bought shares in Kleenex. I think I'm pretty much keeping them in business.
I've figured out that the person G is interested is is a married woman. I was quite devious in getting this information out of him and I caught him out with it.
Murray has now been rehomed. I don't know the people he's gone to, but G does. Hopefully he will live out his latter years with the company that he deserves.

You concentrate on yourself now VV. You have all the help and support of your true friends here and in RL. Take care, you know where and how to get hold of everyone ok? Your mum's got all my details if you want them.

You just have to tell them. You'll score highly for your honesty. Everyone knows someone who has been through this, and I'm sure they'll be sympathetic, particularly when they see that you're doing all the right things to sort it out for yourself.

VV sometimes it helps to think of someone worse off than yourself, to realise you have blessings in your lifeYou're healthy, and your health is paramount. My niece, who just turned 27 yesterday, is so seriously ill that she's had to give up her flat and her job and move back in with her father (my brother) and step-mother, for full-time care.
I know you've a long way to go to becoming whole again but the other person doesn't deserve your grief. Please concentrate on yourself, your life, making yourself a better person and you'll be just fine. I'm looking forward to giving you a RL and sharing a chat with you, take all the help offered in RL and your hootoo friends here.

What he said, tell them. But I don't think you have to tell them in the first interview. Or even the second - wait until you get offered the job. It seems dishonest to some people - but this is something that you will work through.
Thinking about having some "sessions" myself. Seeing other people do it is a big help.
