On that note, did I get a chance to mention that I found a used note-book for milady? And she now happily has her own set-up and ties to the broadband.

She is indeed enjoying it. The whole idea of it's portability was that she could enjoy games, or the net, in the living room whilst I'd be chatting someone in need. Except, ... it's taken up permanent residence on the desk right next to the PC. "The best laid plans, ..." eh?

Heh heh heh. And so there IS one up-shot to the new office being in the basement. It's far less often that she just happens to wander in when I'm on-line. Before, it was directly across from the bathroom, a room in the middle of the single floor of our house.
