Me,being called a Damsel

Yes,I am definately female and even in the middle ages there were female Knights and female gladiators for that matter too but history tends to keep quiet on that point (can't have us women getting any idea's)

I became an h2g2 knight last year and because you have to be a knight of something I became the Knight of LD as we were also on LD at the time although it has sadly closed its doors it lives on in our memmories.

well, i think ive sobered up now

i didnt win on the nags
it was a works retirement/grand national party. ron's boss owns a hotel and it was held there, with free flowing booze and food.

ron won on the raffle. a blue harrods storage jar, full of ground coffee. .. personally i wouldnt give it house room on the principle that its from that shop. as long as its owned by that man, i never want anything to do with it.. heres me the great charity shop queen, i mean what chance have i got to shop there anyway

as for being a female knight... naaaaaa.
i'll stick to being the damsel in distress..
it makes you think though, when did it become fashionable to have jobs suitable for the men and jobs only suitable for the women?.

Blame the church for starting the bit on women can't do this or that as they didn't and still don't want female priests.

Then it spread largely during the victorian era when women belonged in the home and it was not lady like to see a womans ankles yadda yadda yadda.....................

Luckily we are now beginning to see equality returning but not just equality but recognision that we are just as capable as men in the world as a whole and can take an equal part in living here and not be subserviant all the time.
