Rains - Wondering where time's going and why it's in so much of a hurry! Posted Mar 5, 2007
to read about Strawberry Trees and Heiroglyphs.
I'm currently trying to rescue a Flea Market entry - it doesn't need too much work, so I'm hoping that'll be in PR by the end of the week (if anyone wants to read it at my PS early, please do!)

Great work, everybody!
Just to clarify, I'm fully aware that most of you have done more than your fair share for the EG. The problem is getting newbies (whether totally new members or oldies who don't write) writing, and I agree the eds have been doing a good job at that.
We may have weathered the storm!

If every newbie who registered wrote an entry, we would have...
*counts on fingers*...
*thinks very carefully*...
Many entries .

The majority of newbies never return to the site, never mind write entries.
83, really? That's better than I thought.

It's okay, but I recall when there were nigh on 200, all the time...

No, Opti, not a newbie. Had you checked his PS you would have seen he is quite proficient in the Guide too.
He is just unable to finish the article.

I am unsure how to check the period of time one has been on this site has it got something to do with their PS number?

Elentari Posted Mar 7, 2007
Yeah, the higher the PS number, the newer they are. You can also look at the date of their earliest entry to get an idea.

Opti, if you go to their personal space, you'll see a "Created" date at the top left. For example, yours was "Created: 15th June 2003". (This works in Brunel. It might not work in other skins).
Of course some very ancient researchers never got around to creating a personal space.

for telling me peeps I use Alabaster, but I will try Brunel Gnomon when it comes to determining a date for the advice all

We're very low again, as most of you know. Anyone got anything in the pipeline? I've just submitted one (although a bug has caused it to get stuck somewhere) and might write one on English Heritage.

I'm afraid I'll be out of action for a while until I'm settled in uni. Still, you can look forward to some entries about Meteorology and the Reading area at some point in the future .
