Feeling better is always a good thing.

Will I sympathise, my pity is limited seeing as I got a razzing from the sheep when I was poorly
(Feel better mate, it's not great feeling like a badger has nested in your head and a small elephant has trampled your body from the inside out.)

Damn. I didn't even think that would come back to bite me...
I don't really mind if you make fun of me while I'm sick. But only because I won't remember anything this time tomorrow

Hi Jodan. I am a newcomer here so it may not be my place to say anything and this is NOT going to work. However English is a developing language and should be improved continuously.
Have you ever noticed the way German (the language) has a tendency to introduce new words by adding 2 old ones together.
Anyway now I better go and find out what the underguide is. Bye.

Hi shark
I absolutely love new folks. Perhaps sounds condescending, but newbies have the distinct advantage of fresh eyes and fresh enthusiasm. Does some jaded eyes good.
I have absolutely no knowledge of German. I have a bit of knowledge of French, and some Latin (the important Roman stuff anyhoo) but no German. I've never been that great with the English language come to think of it. And on that encouraging note, I can say that I'm an editor for the <./>UnderGuide</.>, and there are a few other editors subscribed to this conversation, so if you should need any help figuring out what the UG is, this is as good a place as any to ask

In and out of the closet like... A595505? (he offered helpfully...)
Fine. But if you don't sweep them up, then I'll exact my... revenge.

So what is the underguide please. My research so far seems to suggest it is anything not related to LIFE THE UNIVERSE and EVERYTHING. This pushes my imagination a little over my limit.

The <./>UnderGuide</.> is h2g2's attempt at a somewhat parallel guide for unconventional writing that doesn't meet the Edited Guide's Writing-Guidelines. Essentially, what that means is that we're some of the guys you turn to when your entry is-
A. Not reality based.
B. Written in the the first person (or the eighth person, for that matter).
C. Not quite the sort of thing you'd expect to see in an encyclopedia.
We at the UnderGuide simply take entries we like from the Alternative Writing Workshop <./>RF5</.> and send them to the Front Page (with a few checks, balances and inefficient, overly bureaucratic procedures along the way, of course). Right now, there's a wonderful UG entry on the <./>FrontPage</.> for your delectation.
