H2G2 is going up the toilet.

Actually, I'm eating crackers right now, so I'm going to need something wet pretty soon...
I have good memories of blackberries

(Quick post on coffee break)
mmm, blackberries. I think I had the last of the autumn raspberries this week.
Catching up with the Atlantic divide:
Unfiltered - I get it. And unh2g2processed or backlogged.
I admit I sometimes see postings here that annoy or depress me about the place. And one of the things that always gets rid of those feelings is going reading or writing entries.
Which is what the place is about, and what it provides the resources for so brilliantly. So, fundamentally it's all there for us to make of it what we choose, as it always was. I suppose if we want h2 to keep going we should pay our dues with the occasional EG entry. Think it's three years since I did one but I'm co-writing one with Willem. Researching it was fun, now cutting it down to size is not so fun!
Another thing that gets rid of those feelings is talking to friends here. Don't have that many but the ones I have are good ones even if half of them do belong in a menagerie or a farmyard. h2's still the best place I've seen for meeting the weird and wonderful .

Pimms, I assume you're talking about the actual berry things and not the electronic thingies? If not, I don't have nearly as wonderful memories about those things
It's a roller coaster ride, eh?

I don't think that's in my job description, actually. I'm far too busy. There must be some interns around?

LL Waz Posted Nov 4, 2005
Palmtop computer organiser things are called blackberries?
Why?
That's just ... inappropriate!
And wrong!
And the conversation's probably moved on but I had to sort an electrician out.
Hometime in 12 minutes .

Yup, moved on. To jello and interns.
Thought interns were something medical.

I have no idea why they're called Blackberries though, Waz Then again, I'm typing on a Macintosh Apple, using a Panther (The operating system, Hyp ) and a mouse, so...

If I were one of those filthy rich people who has everything I would get a blackberry. Then I could access h2g2 mobile!
Have I ever mentioned that my uncle actually did once, in a restaurant? We were out for dinner and I was telling him about h2g2, and I mentioned that it had a pda skin. So he whipped out his phone and actually went to the site! It was really bizarre and Adamsesque, that one could actually access a portable guide from anywhere, if one was willing to pay for the technology.
