My baby

Daughter number 2 has left home to live with her boyfriend - no arguements or anything - she's just decided its what she wants to do.

I know she's 18, but she's still my baby. smiley - wah

Took her round the university today, she was so happy and bubbly, and from now on it won't be me sharing that excitement with her.

Exeunt Duck

One less in the family as the duck succumbs - apparently to the cold weather.

2004 will see my 50th birthday, I should do something significant.

Suggestions ?

Back to School

Well all the exam results have been digested. smiley - headhurts

Eldest got a C and 2 Ds - frankly better than I thought she'd do because she's done damn all work. She wants to go to Luton to do media, but Mrs Disorganised has explained to her that she can't live on £3,000 a year student loan, so she needs to get a job for a year and SAVE.

No. 2 got 2 B's a C and an E in her AS levels. She intends to be a history teacher, and hopes to go to Oxford Brookes. She's saving already for this eventuallity.

No. 3 got 2 A's 5 B's 3 C's and 2 D's. We arranged for one of the C's to be re-evaluated because her coursework was all A and A*. She's got a part-time job at Sainsbury's on the salad bar. She says she wants to be a lawyer ?

No. 4 sits GCSE's this year, hasn't yet decided if she's going to stay on. (She will.)

No.5 starts school next Monday. Its not fair ! smiley - wah He's only 4.

No.6 starts play school 3 afternoons a week next Monday as well. May The Good Lord help her teachers. smiley - biggrin

The dog has refused to attend classes, and the cat has been excluded. The duck will be attending special school unless it desists from crapping on the patio. smiley - skull

And Shrinks

The fish didn't survive the holiday, our pet minder changed the water without using the stuff that makes it safe for fish.

The family grows

Another addition to the household. Ollie is getting on a bit, so we've got a kitten to help him keep the neighbourhood in order.
Name as yet is undecided, though daughter 4, for whom this was a birthday present, favours Salem. My wife isn't keen.
