Life's unanswered questions

I've added a new section to my space. Questions, so far I have three (one of them being the speed of light thing I wrote about earlier).
If I think of more I'll add them. Feel free to comment.

4th July

I think I may just make it in time to wish all my American friends out there a happy 4th of July!

speed of light

Sometimes I get insomnia. I've learned to deal with it and not worry about it. I just lie there and let my brain ramble on. My brain decides it's not tired and wants to chat. No matter how much I may want to sleep, it wants to play. So I just go with it now. I used to get really anxious about it, which only makes it worse.

This happened two nights ago. I was sorely tempted to get up and hootoo, but that would've made my brain even more active.
Instead I decided to lay in bed and let the mind wonder.

I kept coming back to this weird 'speed of light' thing. I kept trying to imagine that if (say Einstein's wrong) I was travelling toward the sun faster than the speed of light, what would I see? I mean if your moving toward something at a speed faster than it takes for the light from that object to reach you, would you still see it?

Don't I have an interesting brain? Luckily the last two nights, I've had reasonably good sleeps. (If you don't count waking up with a shocking headache- the last vestige of a head cold that makes my ear ache as well.)

Blurburger

One of my favourite sites has been updated. You should really check out the 'Nostril Head' story in the shoebox.

If you really like the site sign the guest book, say you saw the site mentioned on h2g2.

ffreezing

I spelt it with two f's deliberately. It was 7ºC (44.6ºF) when I left the house this morning, and when I got to work the heating system was blowing out cold air! smiley - brr
The air-con guys came to fix it, but it was still cold in there when I left at 12.30. My back is sore in between my shoulder blades, I think from tensing. Also I think I'm getting a cold.smiley - blue

Just thought I'd share.
