tattoo/evolution
Posted Jul 7, 2005
I asked this question in the ask h2g2 section, but thought I might pose it here as well.
Does anyone know of a graphical symbol for evolution? I'm thinking for a tattoo.
In ask h2g2, they came up with ape to man, and the Darwin Fish (which I quite like)

Any other ideas?

Nice one Amazon!
Posted May 26, 2005
We are always hearing about bad customer service experiences, I thought I'd share a good one.
Early April I ordered some books through amazon. Since then I've received about four emails saying there was a delay with the order and would I approve it.
Finally I decided to email them. I got an almost immediate reply Although they didn't explain what the delay was they upgraded my shipping to 'Expedited International Shipping' and waived the shipping fee, which is going to save me about $30USD! . They also say to write back if I haven't received any notification of shipment by June third.
Nice.

God I'm an idiot! Trying to do this before my battery dies and I posted in my message centre instead of my journal.
Anyone interested in a gmail account? I have about 50 invites.
