God I'm an idiot! Trying to do this before my battery dies and I posted in my message centre instead of my journal.

Anyone interested in a gmail account? I have about 50 invites.

What's gmail?

Google's email system. It gives you more space than you could possibly ever use for your emails. It's fantastic

I have 50 invites too... they're giving them away like... well, something.

Is it free? Like hotmail?

Yup.

Like hotmail? It's much better than hotmail (anything's better than hotmail. Smoke signals are better than hotmail!!)
It currently gives you 2 GB of space and is still increasing, so you don't ever have to delete anything.
It's still in the testing stage, so you can currently only get an account with an invitation.
Though, as Jodan pointed out, they seem to be giving them away as fast as they can. so I'm not sure why it's still invitation only.

Hypatia, if you want an account just send me an email tmachead at yahoo.com.au. This account automatically forwards any email to my gmail account.
Of course, I imagine Jodan may have been nice enough to send you an invite by now.

Will do. I've been wanting a Hyp account. This will be a good time.

I hate hotmail. Absolutely refuse to use it.

I imagine Jodan is using all 50 of his accounts for his sheep.
