Virtual house warming.

smiley - bubblyfor everyone, and smiley - cake

I've been in my new house for nearly two weeks. Man, do I miss the internet. I miss my hootoo. I've been able to keep up a little bit at work, but have no chance of keeping up with Jodan's huge threads! Sorry Jodan.

The place is starting to feel like home. I still have no lounge furniture, but it's on order as is my beautiful big bed! Can't wait, I already bought manchester for it.

People have been giving me stuff left right and centre, which I'm really grateful for. I now have a fridge, a dining table (but no chairs, yet) and a bigger TV than the one I had.

Am sleeping okay, was leaving the TV on timer at first so there were voices, but now don't need to. Funny thing is I keep falling asleep early, and have yet to be able to sleep in.smiley - groan

On the down side, I seem to have developed another sinus infection. smiley - ill

9 days and counting. . .

I am sitting in a very small space literally surrounded with cardboard boxes. There's barely enough room to pull out the keyboard and type this. In 9 days I will be a home owner (well, I guess I already am, but it will be settled then.) No more cramped up spaces, I'll be able to walk through a room without having to dodge anything.
I wonder how long I can keep the place tidy?

Last thing to be unplugged and packed with be the Mac. Not sure how long before I get the net in the new place, but it will be coming. Luckily I have it at work, so I won't be missing hootoo.

My brain is fried at the moment though. Most of you will be aware of Douglas Adams theory about being able to keep seven things in your mind, and if you think of an eighth thing one drops out? My brain is straining at about three things at the moment.

My moods are swinging and smiley - bleep words are coming out of my mouth. It's a crazy time.
