How very poignant. Could be a song, y'know... I can see it... Electric guitars, thumping bass and bad costuming...
It's cold out here in the rock-les world..
Talking about costuming... Found out the other day that Queen's costuming was done by Zandra Rhodes

I actually think it could work quite well as an opening to a rock song
Well, /I/ thought it was interesting...

Neither am I, but I've never tried Could be worth a shot
I'm afraid you'd be the foutain of all knowledge in this direction..

I've tried a couple of times, but it's never ended in anything I haven't wanted to burn straight away. I think I'll stick to stories
Well, where Queen are concerned...

I think some people are better at one form of writing than another.. I'll bet your songs are quite good really, practise makes perfect, so they say.
Mastermind topic... "Random Queen Information"?

Nah, I just can't get the inspiration for songs, or poetry. I'm no good at that type of thing. My dad's quite good- he quite regularly writes humourous 'Odes' for special occasions (birthdays, weddings, people leaving work, etc). But I'm more of a prose person
Lol
On a related note... I liked that fact that on Christmas day at 3:00 pm, just about every channel (o.k, so I'm exagerrating...) had the Queen's speech, whereas VH1 classic had "Queen!"- an hour of videos from Freddie and the boys. Guess which one we had to have on though...

I used to be more of a poet than a prose person... but I've rather lost my groove in that direction at the moment It's the kind of thing that comes and goes. Damned wriiter's block.
That sounds pretty
Yeeeeeugh... Apparently the Simpson's did a "Queen's speech" of their own on C4. I managed not to watch anything at all So I'm pleased.
Pretty neat that, though

You were had block before you could even write.. that's impressive
Let's see...
It's cold out here in the rock-less world.
Now, if we're talking music, the rhythm is more important that the rhyme. So whatever comes next needs to work out to be stressed "di DUM di DUM di di DUM di DUM"
Well, that's my theory, anyway.
IT could have been interesting, that's for sure.

"You were had block"? What the hell happened there?
Oh, I agree. Doesn't mean I can write anything, though.

Ah... I remember. I was going to type "you were blocked" and realised that didn't make sense... But fairly absent-mindedly forgot to delete the "were". So it shouls have said "You had block before you could even write". Sorry. I must learn the value of proof-reading.
Could still be worth a try. Write it like prose, but change how you'd present it

Once upon a time I said that about eye-shadow, y'know... Now look at me. It's the first thing most people notice
Think of it as a personal challenge
