Towels and Tribulations

The Ramblings of a Loon

smiley - weirdYou enter through double doors that squeak as they are pushed back and stub your toe on the small wooden duck that has served as a doorstop since the cat ate the last one. As the pain recedes, you start to take in your surroundings, you notice for the first time that the walls are covered in egg boxes. This is the home of either a mad man or a genius, or perhaps something inbetween, you cannot be sure as your eyes dart around the room watching out for an unseen danger which could result in you being found face down in a ditch three days later by a search and rescue team. The room feels like it's closing in on you but when you turn to leave your path is blocked by a gibbering loon who wears nought but a genuine hitchhiker towel and an unseen university scarf. "I have blue shoes!" yells the man manically, "I HAVE smiley - bleep BLUE SHOES!" You are stunned by this and back away, fighting to get out. You see a stairway and go to climb it only to be confronted with a chesterfield sofa stuck halfway up. Turning around only faces you with that man again who thrusts several sheafs of paper into your arms indicating that you read it. A ball and chain. The pages merely reveal more mad rantings of this gibbering loon. You shake your head and push past to the double doors. Come back and see me again sometime... please?
