The Devolution of Humanity

1 Conversation

Consider some facts of life for a moment:

1) Natural selection has died out. Since we became masters of our own destinies, constructing the world around us to suit our needs and to function as per the requirements of the typical human shape, natural selection has become a thing of the past.

2) Mutation is also an outdated method of evolution since a person with a malformed hand for example is given the tools to cope as others do rather than discovering new and important things to do with that hand. Plus many mutations are either cured nowadays or destroyed before they leave the womb.

- these facts show us that Humanity has ceased to evolve, perhaps we are at our peak of evolution, the most perfect beings in the universe. But then again, perhaps we are just the victims of our own stubborn streak.

In truth, facts have come to light recently that humanity is in fact in a state of devolution. This is because statistically the more intelligent a person is, the longer they wait to lose their virginity, the disabled among us rather than have less sex actually have MORE than many of us meaning that wherever the evolutionary chain is going, its going in a downward direction.
