I wasn't making that argument I just said that the guide needed entries not once did I quite what you have quoted there.

And one more thing, whilst I was having that particually bad time in peer review I was told it was best not to antagoinse the scouts or they would just refuse to put the entry through, since it has to be recommended by a scout. But for paully's intervention, I do still wonder if that would have happened.

And I know that you are going to reply to that and say "of course not"

I don't usually mind topic drift but this is going a bit far

I tend to agree, Reef. I understood this journal to have begun over a particular frustration with the site. And having been discussed in many directions, I'd say it's about run it's course.

I think there's anything left to say on either subject, it's something that IMHO will never be solved, there will always be people who say PR is like a Cock Fighting Pit and there will always be people who pi$$ other researchers off

So on that note, I'll leave this thread to what-ever ...

I'm sorry, guys. There's a lot of frustration in my post last night that is just tied in to RL events - I'm trying to avoid posting on hootoo for fear that I will just say something inappropriate and upsetting. If I caused any offence, I'm sorry. I'll be back to normal soon.
