Now there *is* a turn up for the books
Conspiracy theories Moonhogg cooks
The sorry tale of RtC
Was nowt to do with Bel and Me
For we are both beyond reproach
We never put him on the coach.

He took off of his own free will
Cared not a jot for our friend Lil
And threw himself at celebrity
Draped in women he’d rather be
Than tucked up safely here with us
He really didn’t even give a cuss.

Rob bit off more than he could chew
With drinks and drugs and stuff - who knew
He’d be so weak and easily led
Who knows what goes on in his head
But problems were of his own making
So he ended up in rehab - shaking.

Not our problem now I fear
So don’t believe all that you hear
The witches three are innocent
We tried to warn him ‘fore he went
That London’s streets ain’t paved with gold
But he went on - his soul he sold.

So before you run to seek him out
Beware, he’s apt to scream and shout
About injustice he perceives
A web of lies he thinks we weave
Don’t fall for it …. I’ve already said
ALL of this is in his head.

My face is soggy...
I try be good..

Night Terrors

Moonhogg has a troubled sleep
'Cause of the company he keeps
He dreams of mice and runny noses
Cultured poos and foreign roses
Dutchmen chased by free gorillas
Invisible men that chuck their pillows
Lunatics with bad con-cushion
Gina pressing the delete button
But every morn when he gets up
He cannot wait to get his cup
Of coffee and get on the 'puter
Mad lab rat ... in shorts, what's cuter.

If I write a cheerful poem
Do you think I'll smile
I'll try it now, to raise a grin
And keep smiling for a while

I'll think of all the things I've got
That I'm grateful for
Firstly a roof above my head and
A bed, not just the floor

A brother who I love so much
A sister who nags me to eat
But most of all, a man who
Makes my soul complete

See now I'm calmer
It really works you see
Perhaps if I keep on like this
I'll be happy to be me!
