Pretty neat, huh? You can even spread the word about the sheep by typing A681130. But if you type A681131 by accident, it won't make a link, so people won't go to the wrong page.
And now that the Italics have DNA up and running, maybe they can devote more time to that ...
-Spike A.
P.S., Are there any Italics here? The party's in your honor, you know.

Some of us have been working too hard to party, you know.

Hey somebody 'spiked' these .
Yo Spike,
That javascript link you let me copy the other day, the one that opens a search-by-number window, isn't working anymore on my page ..or yours.
I guess we don't need it it now anyways what with U162334 being the new way to link to the U,F,A.
Of course the B numbers aren't accessible now. Might as well take it off the page ..unless you think it's just temporarily out of order and has any future use.
Hey this <./>online</.> feature is much smoother too. Just gotta remember to use another window...
peace

Galen Posted Jan 28, 2002
so do the moderators care about links now, it would seem to nullify the new features if they still did!
Come for the party?
Galen Posted Jan 28, 2002
wow!!! nice online feature!!!!
but how do we say online without it linking?
Come for the party?
Galen Posted Jan 28, 2002
wait, that did not work, let me rephrase that, how do we say online and have it link?
Come for the party?
Galen Posted Jan 28, 2002
and i just found out that there is a little button on each entry that lets me submit it even from the comfort of my own page!!!!
oh yeah, and visit A681130 to help the sheep revolt!!!
and does anyone know what the 360 deal is?

It is an upcoming DNA site. The entries that birthed it can be found here on h2g2, but I'm too lazy to find them myself at the moment. As far as I know, anything more than that is confidential.
Hey Jim, while you're subscribed here, have the PR "thread moved" announcements been demolished, or is it just me?
Come for the party?
Jim Lynn Posted Jan 28, 2002
'Demolished'? Not that I know of. The automated PR system does all the same posting that the old one did - in fact more, because when entering an entry into a review forum, it posts to the forum, and on the page of the author.
Have you noticed it *not* working? Could be a bug if you have.

(Make sure you know where your "Back" button is first, though... )

Evil Zombie Strider Posted Jan 29, 2002
Well, I just got the confidential email, and I never got the posting... I'll go report it on the page.
Come for the party?
Jim Lynn Posted Jan 29, 2002
What did the email say? You don't mention that in your bug report and I suspect it's important.

Evil Zombie Strider Posted Jan 29, 2002
It was just the regular message saying that my entry "Granny Smith Apples" was recommended 25 Jan and I'd receive another message when it gets to the front page.
