Last night of 74 years.Very dear friends,

Very dear friends,

It is nearly 22 hours GMT and I am tired and need to go to bed.
I have a busy schedule ahead of me tomorrow and will probably not get to my computer - my faithful contact with all you wonderful people - until about 20.00 GMT
Thank you all for making these last few weeks of planning so exciting and making me feel worthwhile and not quite ready for the compost heap!!.
With affectionate smiley - love to you all and thank you for your wonderful friendship.
Your loving

DRESS Fancy Dress - let your imagination run
wild.!!!

I am hoping that some kind friend will make out an invitaion list so that those coming can reply to it. I would like to know how each guest will be dressed to be included on the reply.

Also if there are any special dietary requirements. i.e. some guests might like rather bizarre food if they are coming dressed in in a special costume.

PS. I am going to be dressed as a mer-grannie and am having a new "mermaid" tail specially designed, vulcanised and mercerised for me. I have also ordered the latest fashion in scales to cover my new fishtail. These are being specially made for me out of a wonderful lightweight material which has been specially developed for space travel. The firm claim that I shall be able to swim five times as fast as anyone else - so BEWARE all you guests. As an extra precaution I am having special manta-ray electrodes fitted into the tail. This is to prevent any "fishy" business. If any should occur!!.

I do hope that you can come and make this event a memorable one for me.

With good wishes

A wonderful day

smiley - rosesmiley - rosesmiley - rosesmiley - rosesmiley - rosesmiley - rose

Yesterday, Tuesday the 15th April 2003 was a wonderful day.

My daughter M-L from Oz, together with her husband B. and their youngest daughter H. visited us. I had lawt seen my daughter five years ago, and my son-in-law and H. nearly eight years ago.

We had a lovely day together and contrary to all my fears everyone got on and everyone was especially kind to K.

After they had left last night I went to bed early. About an hour later, the front door bell rang, and when I opened the door there was my darling K. with my wheelchair. I thanked him quietly and asked him in. We had a little nightcap together of a glass of milk; discussed the day and decided to go birdwatching together today now that I am more mobile with my wheelchair.

I have always said that once he brought the wheelchair back voluntarily that this would be the turning point and I really believe it.

I would like to thank you all for the understanding and compassion which you have shown us during these last few very traumatic months. Your support has been invaluable. I only hope that I shall be able to do the same for you should you ever need it.

With affectionate smiley - love and all good wishes for a happy and blessed Easter.
