A wonderful day
Also ran 1 Started conversation Apr 15, 2003
Yesterday, Tuesday the 15th April 2003 was a wonderful day.
My daughter M-L from Oz, together with her husband B. and their youngest daughter H. visited us. I had lawt seen my daughter five years ago, and my son-in-law and H. nearly eight years ago.
We had a lovely day together and contrary to all my fears everyone got on and everyone was especially kind to K.
After they had left last night I went to bed early. About an hour later, the front door bell rang, and when I opened the door there was my darling K. with my wheelchair. I thanked him quietly and asked him in. We had a little nightcap together of a glass of milk; discussed the day and decided to go birdwatching together today now that I am more mobile with my wheelchair.
I have always said that once he brought the wheelchair back voluntarily that this would be the turning point and I really believe it.
I would like to thank you all for the understanding and compassion which you have shown us during these last few very traumatic months. Your support has been invaluable. I only hope that I shall be able to do the same for you should you ever need it.
With affectionate and all good wishes for a happy and blessed Easter.

Oh my very dear Zantic
I always know that you are there. The way you found me at the summer meet. It was so wonderful. Thank you. I was so happy to find your photograph in one of Dr. Munchkin's references. I shall have to try and print it. I wonder if I can.
Work hard and please let me know AS SOON as you get your PH D.

Very dear Caerwyn
Thank you for your kind thoughts and good wishes. Yes Easter will certainly be a happier one that I thought it would be. It is nice to have our friend Coelocanth back is it not? Hope your boys and your husband are well. Best wishes to you all.

I afraid I haven't been keeping up with you AR1, but I'm subscribed to your journal now and should be able to keep up with what's going on in your life.
Glad to hear that things are going better now.

Thank you my dear friend,
It is good to hear from you. Thank the Lord, I think we have finally turned the corner; but it has been a traumatic, sad and very painful period in both our lives. Fortunately for me, I have discovered hootoo and have been conforted with the most wonderful moral support and compassion shown to me by our many friends. As one gets older it is more difficult to recover from the knocks of life.
Keep well, and have a blessed Easter.
Sincerely,
AR1
