BIG BIRTHDAY BASH 75 years old.
Also ran 1 Started conversation May 11, 2003
You are cordially invited
to
help AR1 celebrate her 75th birthday!
VENUE OF MY VIRTUAL PARTY
(BY KIND PERMISSION OF LURCHER
of direct lupine descent)
19th Hole of the Gopher Golf course
Next to the woods(inhabited by wolves)
Derbyshire
DATE Friday 23rd May, 2003
TIME 20.00HRS. GMT
DRESS Fancy Dress - let your imagination run
wild.!!!
I am hoping that some kind friend will make out an invitaion list so that those coming can reply to it. I would like to know how each guest will be dressed to be included on the reply.
Also if there are any special dietary requirements. i.e. some guests might like rather bizarre food if they are coming dressed in in a special costume.
PS. I am going to be dressed as a mer-grannie and am having a new "mermaid" tail specially designed, vulcanised and mercerised for me. I have also ordered the latest fashion in scales to cover my new fishtail. These are being specially made for me out of a wonderful lightweight material which has been specially developed for space travel. The firm claim that I shall be able to swim five times as fast as anyone else - so BEWARE all you guests. As an extra precaution I am having special manta-ray electrodes fitted into the tail. This is to prevent any "fishy" business. If any should occur!!.
I do hope that you can come and make this event a memorable one for me.
With good wishes
AR1

Ooo, I shall definately have to pop in to this. If a link can be added in to this conversation at some point then that should stop me getting lost or distracted. Hmmm, now what to wear?

Oh, I'd like to come, AR!. A very happy birthday to you!
Will advise dress later. 8pm is past little 's bedtime - in fact it is his bedtime, so I may be a little late, while I settle him in.

Merveilleux mon cher Docteur,
But how does one make a link.? I have asked Amy if she could make me a reply list - with the name of the person, what they are wearing and where they live. That should really be a wonderful birthday present to have such a list!1.Where are you moving to my dear? Hope the weather is being kind to you.
I also hope that both Toccato and Zantic will come.
Au revoir

Very dear Zarquhon
I am so pleased you can make it. I should think that we shall go on late into the night/morning. One does not turn 75 every day!!. It does seem jolly old, and yet I really do not feel it.
Do bring your beau if he would like to come.
Perhaps liiite could stay up a little bit later - it is after all a special night!!
Affectionate

Seems to be a big problem getting on-line this afternoon and evening.
AR! - I am exhausted - I'm having an early night - just put little to bed, so I popped by with a little - containing happiness, health and friendship! . Oh yes, and bottle of optimism!
Enjoy your evening!

AR - I thought I'd left a reply saying I would like to come, but it seems to have disappeared into cyberspace... somewhere...
To make a link, you copy the address at the top of your screen (right click on it, left click on copy), then paste it into the text block when you're typing your message. It will work as is, but to avoid skin preference problems, you can cut off everything before the F number, and when you post it, it will come up as a link.
Real problems getting pages to load this afternoon, but surely they'll have things up and running adequately long before your party.
I'll go start a reply thread if Amy hasn't been able to do it yet.. I just have to manage to get onto your actual page to see if it's been done yet, and if it has, manage to get back into this page to post the link.

AR1 would also like for you to tell her what kind of costume you'll be wearing - the more imaginative, the better!
Let's make this a memorable party for AR1!

Five simulposts! I had thought that nothing I tried to send actually got through because of the servers being on the blink. I hope it didn't spoil your birthday bash, AR!.
