I don't know Mr. Lecter personally, so I couldn't say.
There's a butler in "Remains of the Day" that looks a lot like him, though.

Oddly enough the guy in The World's Fastest Indian movie
(Herbert J 'Burt' Munro)
looks a lot like him as well.

The smileys always did look like him. Even the maniac wife killers in "Fracture" and the demented math profs in "Proof" are spitting images of him.

Well, Lewis Carroll was pretty .
So was Tom Lehrer.
Omar Khayyam wrote poetry about getting , in a culture that frowned on .
John Forbes Nash Jr. talked to people who didn't exist.
My high school math teacher was fired for having an affair with a student .

Hmm, I wonder if Samuel Coleridge was ever a maths teacher?
He was certainlyand probably a bit as well.

Some genius at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration in the U.S. underestimated the U.S. average temperature in 1998 by a quarter of a percentage point, allowing 1934 to zoom to the top of the list as the hottest year ever for the U.S.. When the correction was made, 1998 became the hottest year, with 1992 and 1934 close behind.
You may call that if you wish.

I can update you on that story. An amateur meteorologist
(Stephen McIntyre)proved that the data was flawed
and 1934 was the hottest year.

Chinese coal mine fires may be putting as much carbon into the atmosphere as all the cars and factories in the U.S. put together.

People go to sleep when I throw minute statistics at them. That's why I do generalizations, generally speaking.

A statistic a minute can be stultifying I agree. Perhaps one every hour or so or at least one every now and again?
PS my dear Count. Thank you for displaying that most aristocratic of features. The hosting of intellectual debate in your little soirees.
